Rossi's apparent loss of "over ability to do miracles" has most to do with the 800's being one-line machines with much shorter braking zones than the 990's. You can't square-off corners to make up for a poor setting or worn (or simply poor) tires like they used to. The rider can't make the difference on the 800 as much as the 990's allowed. Listen to anyone with half a brain in the paddock and they'll tell you this. The Rossi bashing here is really ridiculous.

When Rossi left Honda he said it was not bike that was important but rider.

Kowalski, you forgot the pass Bayliss did on Toseland on the last chicane at Assen, now that is something I've never seen at Assen!!
Nobody can say Rossi give poor performance when he is 2nd overall! He is still the best of the rest. Casey have just been far too good this year, and yes I say Casey is the one that made the different in the rider-bike-tire combo.
I still say that Rossi must take some of the blame for how good/bad the M1 is today after 1 year development. And I think that while Rossi is still amazingly good, he have lost some of his "over ability" to do miracles. It must be either that he is somewhat worse or that Casey is better the "old school" Rossi use to "play" with.

Fantastic @Grim Reaper.. Again.. "low" comment posted by Grim.. Fantastic, you have no shame at all. Have you finished on calculating Rossi's statistic? FYI only for you Grim, Rossi will take his 100 podium in MotoGP class if he able to gain podium tomorrow..

But Rossi never said it was not the tyre that was important but the rider.. Keep that in your ****** mind Grim.. ;)

Let's hope this race isn't another snore fest with Stoner going off into the distance. Remember 2005/6 when we had no idea who was going to win until the last corner of the last lap? Incredible.

It could have been Melandri, Rossi, Gibernau, Hayden, Capirossi, Pedrosa, even Edwards. (Stoner wasn't in the equation).

Stoner fans forget people aren't slagging off the fact Stoner wins, we slag off the fact there is no desperate last 'gasp' fight for the win. Moto GP has become too like F1 with the victor almost decided before the race starts. All fans want is close racing, and an unpredictable outcome to a race. This has nothing to do with Stoner's riding and everything to do with tyres.

For god sake for all of you Rossi haters.. He won 7 times world Champion.. That facts is more than enough to make all of you to shut your lousy mouth if you even never achieved something like that in any kind of thing in your life..

Rossi is a professional rider, and he knows what is the problem with his bike, not you..If he says it is tyre than it is tyre, if he says it is bike than it is bike that trouble him. He is not moaning, so do with Pedrosa, Stoner and other riders..

Admit it!! If Rossi is in a good tyre we all gonna see a fantastic race, not a dead boring one.. You just sucks if you not admit it..
