Rossi's apparent loss of "over ability to do miracles" has most to do with the 800's being one-line machines with much shorter braking zones than the 990's. You can't square-off corners to make up for a poor setting or worn (or simply poor) tires like they used to. The rider can't make the difference on the 800 as much as the 990's allowed. Listen to anyone with half a brain in the paddock and they'll tell you this. The Rossi bashing here is really ridiculous.

Does anybody know if Rossi is using the 'new' engine for this race, compared to the old engine in Phillip Island he was using, where Rossi was no where near the front?

It will be announced very soon that Rossi will be on Bridgestones next year & Lorenzo on Michelins.

I just think there is something a miss somewhere. Aparently Bridgestone didnt want to supply either Repsol Honda or Yamaha who have both asked for the switch. Now that makes for interesting reading because the powers that be are still to decide if its a single manufacturer or we carry on how we are this year.

We can all presume what ever we like but we dont seem to be seeing any decent pace out of that yamaha.

The new testing on the new bike tyres is nearing & it will be interesting.
