Speak for yourself, Grumpy one. I find Rossi's antics way too theatrical. Pedrosa's reactions are simply the honest reactions of a shy guy who can't stand the limelight and doesn't really know how to handle it, but watching him ride a bike is still far from boring...

Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa stormed to his third pole position in as many races at Sepang on Saturday, but is yet to win from pole this season.

Go Pedrosabot. Would love to see him get second in the championship just to stick it to the Rossi hangers-on.

Pedrosa is a great rider, but he has no personality at all. On balance maybe this is why Rossi is so great to watch because defeated he congratulates, but when the winner he goes crazy with excitement in a way only an Italian can! In contrast Pedrosa can do little more than smile if he wins. Incredible talent, but maybe slightly autistic in behaviour? Watching Pedrosa on the podium is like seeing a super geek at school stack 1200 cards in a row. Watching Rossi is like seeing the school joker win the 100m sprint whilst dressed up as a clown. People prefer the later - on balance, and fall asleep at the former.

I agree with Sill.

That is his personality and that's it. You like it or not, cannot convict him for beeing how he is.

Pedrosa could be a little more "smiley" with "us" and with more vitality in his declarations. I like his riding style and that is what interest me more.

I thought he looked pretty happy when he won in Germany. As for Rossi I always thought his celebrations were well thought out and funny.

However i'm not sure how much of Lorenzo's modest celebration i'll be able to stand if he's sucessful next year.

I agree with Abigail Sill and Andy!

He just is shy and if he doesn't do all those tings Rossi does before the race is because he is focus!

It's not how much a person smile that will make him a champion.
And I agree with Abigail when she said that his riding are far from boring...
It's not boring at all!
