A declining team - once fielding top riders challenging for the championship like Gibernau & Melandri, it is left with mediocre riders like Nakano & DeAngelis. A sad state of affairs.

Glad to see Alex DeAngelis at Gresini otherwise Fausto could be accused of running a home for the 'retired' (or 'should be retired'). Could have special frames made by Zimmer by mid season. But good luck to all.

Good for Nakano!
I still think he is a better rider then he gets credit for. If he had stuck with Kawi this year, he'd probably have multiple podiums.
The Gresini bike is certainly a step up from Minolta, hope Shinya does well.

I personally think it is a "GET OUT OF JAIL" card for shinya he has not performed well and before i get a barrage of abuse i feel for shinya i think he jumped ship unfortunately a little too early from kawasaki, look at the development he did anyways that is by the by and i hope next yr he has better luck.

Now ALEX "FALL OFF ALOT" DeAngelis especially this season he has had a very lucky move but personally don't think he deserves it. i do hope he proves me wrong but that is my view.

Personally I think DeAngilis could be worth a punt on but Nakano - he had one decent season in 250's when it wasn't exactly the strongest field. In motogp Yamaha sacked him cos he didn't deliver the results. He had a good, if inconsistant season at Kawasaki, but a lot of people in the paddock rated the bike quite highly and reckoned any half decent rider would have got done the same. Think I would have kept Elias, he's fast and if he stops being wreckless and finds some consistency then he could finish the season in the top six.

gresini is a disgrace. he s held elias til now knowing he wouldnt keep him in the team.
guys dont get too excited. de angelis has barely won one race in 250s, his end of the season has been lame. the grsini hondas will get NO evolution next year. nakano is a grat rider but the bikes will suck.

Hurray.. Im REALLY looking forward to yet another season filled with many nice parade laps, exiting battles for 12'th place and lots of bitching about whos got the best traction/tire combo.. Now DeAngelis can learn the secret art of consistent bad qualifying and how to successfully run around in 14th place..
.
If gresini wins next years title i will digest my hat...

It isn't important what people think of Shinya Nakano,
he's the sole Japanese rider out there next year and that's what matters to them.
This year was defenitely unhappy for him, hope he does well on Bridgestones again.
Gresini's outfit is the best satellite team.
Great that Elias stays, just seeing him ride is like music :)

Hard to see that pair beat anyone but the Robert's bike, sad state of affairs indeed.
