No one probably enjoys being in MotoGP more than Colin Edwards.
Top team, good atmosphere, good payment.
He summed it up nicely himself: 'I get to ride with the best rider in the world and can look into his data anytime I wish'.
One more year in Tech 3, maybe even two, then retire.
Pity he didn't win a race (though being close at Assen and Laguna),
but hey, can you really complain after a career like that?
One of the great characters in the sport :)

Valencia will be special weekend for Colin Edwards, who will make his final appearance for the factory Yamaha team before joining Herve Poncharal's satellite Tech 3 outfit in 2008.

A nice guy but the comments sum him up perfectly.
Happy to be a bit player around the big boys.
That's why he never won a race and never will.
Do you think anyone will remember Edwards in 10 years time?
