All season I have worried about that Rossi might get so frustrated with his inability to beat Stoner that he is tempted to over-ride his inferior bike. Not sure if that's what happened here but it sounds like he was lucky not to get more seriously hurt. Stoner well deserves this year's title but Vale is still the best out there. Hope he can ride tomorrow.

Yeah... It's the new regulation rule.... Michelin were so good in the last 10 (or whatever) years because they had the chance to make for every track new tyres one day before the race...and they delivered them on the race-day... Now they can't really know what kind of tyres they will be needing, so they suck..
But bridgestone never had this kind of chance, that's why they were collecting data all these years and out of that data they're making the tyres that actually last and work...
But michelin will be approving soon..

Its only natural everyone wants the best kit. After all, Michelin have had a full season to get it right. If I owned Repsol/Fiat Yamaha etc I would be very angry. All the hard work let down by the tyres.

I was watching eurosport later, when the 250cc's were quilifying... And Toby Moody asked Guintoli (i think, but i'm not sure)...Anyway, he asked a rider what he thinks about Rossi's crash... The rider said it was a really really WEIRD! As if he wanted but didn't dare to say the word "Tyres?????!???"
I read that it was announced that Rossi WILL be on Bridgestones next year.. Now they only need to make the bike go better....

Its been said a few times how hard the Fiat Yamaha is to ride. To see Colin Edwards face in the pits said it all.Even Hayden was struggling until the qualifyers went on. Now Rossi has hurt himself in a crash that looked like the bike was from the good old 500 days. Tyres, tyres tyres, boring I know but the truth is on the TV for all to see. If Vale does not go to Bridgstones after this I will be amazed. :?

Knowin Mr Rossi, he'll move heaven and earth to ride tomorrows race. Its not been unknown in the past for riders to race even when advised not to by the docs. And i doubt Rossi will be any different. GGGoooooooooo! Rossi. ;) ;) ;)
