Well, if he hadn't completely trashed his number 1 bike like he did, there probably wouldn't have been a problem!
And actually, was there an engine problem at all? Nothing physically broken, or they could have seen that. Being sent back to Japan for investigation - hmmm. Sounds to me that nothing was wrong here and this is just a face-saving exercise for Rossi.

Yamaha has apologised to Valentino Rossi for the engine problem that robbed him of second place in the 2007 MotoGP World Championship - but isn't sure exactly what went wrong.

His rear locked up, and it was pretty clear to see, you fools ! :p Same way as it did the other time. Remember Yamaha saying that the failure had nothing to do with the pneumatic valve system? And that it could have happend with the old engine?

How ironic! They've proven themselves right!

Its hard to imagine what Yamaha think they're playing at. They are paying Vale a shedload of money, and I'm sure Burgess doesn't come cheap either, and what have they got out of it........? Third place in the championship behind a reputed "crash-pilot" riding for one of the smallest factories in the World, and the smallest RIDER in the World, riding for the Old Enemy........... Jarvis must be beating his brains out........or writing is resignation letter.......!

Lin Jarvis is an idiot. This Yamaha bike is **** to begin with and this has lost Rossi the greatest rider ever to continue with his peak performance. The year 2006 saw rossi loose the championship to nicky hayden due to the fact that the bike broke down too often. The year 2007 has seen rossi loosing the champioship to the fact that the Yamaha bike was extremely MEDIOCRE. I hope nobody buys a Yamaha. As for Lin Jarvis he can FCUK himself
