What was it all the Rossi fanatics said?
Any fool could jump on the Ducati and do what Stoner can.
Well Melandri is no fool. A proven race winner.
Not so easy is it?

MOTOGP » Melandri suffers 'demanding' debut

Any hopes Marco Melandri may have had of being quickly up to new team-mate Casey Stoner's world championship winning pace were stunted by a 'demanding' debut for the Ducati Marlboro team.

I saw somewhere on Ducati chassis sticker that written as below:

"Warning!: Only crasher allowed to improve."

No wonder, Elias got it faster than the rest of Ducati's newcomers. :P

Good one, Zydon ;)

Haha, maybe Randy de Puniet should have signed up for a Marlboro Ducati...he, too, could be a world champion!!

(just kidding....I am a big RdP fan!!) :p

The way how the journalist or whoever wrote this article doesnt mean it is exactly how they say. the word " suffering" is just as foolish.only a stoner fan could say such a word to make the importance bigger.
what happened to lucky stoner, and I mean Lucky, is that everything fell for him and his height, weight and style and the fact that he is a fresh newcomer from the 250s as the new 800's bike handles more like them . so melandri is fresh from the 250's too comp. to capirossi - so we will see it nicely. no suffering: just a foolish word. melandri doesnt really look on the photo like he is suffering much.
im sure he'll build a really cool rapport with the ducati italian team.

Melandri is street fighter and he'll show his potential later. Don't hurry like journalist are doing only their work. And Melandri has been at his best on race day!

I've never seen such unmitigated baseless hatred towards someone who simply rode a good bike perfectly. Do I detect a little cultural hatred of antipodeans creeping into the argument here?
