Good to see two good guys doing better on new bikes, would'nt it be weird to see Silvian get on the podium.

What does this say about the capabilities of the Desmoedici? This is as close as you'll get to a back-back test with the RC212V.. and that's with Elias on a "strange" bike. Also amazing ability from Elias (and all the riders) - to step onto a new bike and take it to this level so quickly. how quick with a little practice?!

I actually think this has the makings of a good team.
Elias is no mug, and great to watch.
Guintoli is a nice lad who has shown he can be quick on some pretty naff material.
If the Alice sponsorship enables to give them proper support, they could really surrise a few folk next season.
Seems that the D'Antin team is on the up, just as the Gresini team is on the way down. Who would have thought this a year or two ago?

I think this reflects that Ducati Satelite bikes are closer to factory bike specs than Honda or Yamaha satelite bikes are to their factory counterparts.

Honda needs to rectify this so they can get a greater quantity of quality feedback for development purposes. Theoretically Honda could have 6 riders all developing their bike but they always choose to have only 1 or 2 doing it by giving the other riders different machinery. No other manufacturer has this potential.

Well rossi46, seeing Casey slide that Duke into corners, I think Toni and Ducati will be a match made in heaven.

Yamaha have been stupid to let Guintoli go, they should have awarded him by
giving him the spot next to Rossi in the works team. He knows the bike and could help out on Bridgestones too
because he hasn't been Michelins tester, like Colin Edwards.
But the Spanish 'market' is probably more important than the French...
Pity though for Yamaha has a great racing tradition with French (Gauloise) teams.

Well said this is one englishman who likes Guintoli, would have done well but he would have been more of a test rider.Your right about the spanish market issue, its a big market and the spanish have a big say in what goes on.
