Its gotta be frustrating when you're the best/most talented rider on the circuit and essentially relegated to spectator as a result of your sub par bike/tire package. It's true the Yahama has never been the fastest, but it's also true that it's progressively getting worse. The best rider should at least be on competitive equipment....clearly he is not. I hope that Rossi gets his opportunity to put the smack down once again and reclaim what is rightfully his. Yamaha rested on its laurels and the competition blew by em. He's got every right to call em out on it and light a fire under their *****.

What arrogance. I thought the team decides who will be their riders. Or is this a message to Dorna to put pressure on Ducati just like they did with bridgestone.

Rossi is being pretty disrespectful to Melandri as he does not even factor Melandri in Ducati's equation for 2009.

Nice try at a mind game on Stoner as well trying to suggest that Stoner would have a problem with Rossi going to Ducati. Rossi is the only one we know of that demands a weak team mate.

"Maybe he would want to measure himself [against me] with the same motorcycle. Perhaps I'm wrong..." Ha! I love it, Rossi and his head games. 2008 should be very interesting. A chance to make up for 2007

totally unacceptable behavior, Yamaha should fire him for constantly slagging off a great company. I am amazed that the japanese allow him to do this, they once wouldnt of. And its not like he rode amazing this year cos he didnt.

Yam put your money behind your two new boys, give james a fighting a chance!

well, technically it's his 2nd bad season

but I agree. Valentino's always had a friendly, easy-to-like image, but with this constant slagging of Yamaha and Michelin it's been harder to still see him in the same light

Why would someone like Rossi said something like that to his own team? Because he knows that Yamaha progressed very slow! You can see Honda for example, they're doing something & fast! Everybody know that specially Rossi! Come on, isn't Yamaha being too selfish for themself? Rossi has given them 2 times world title with a crap bike! Know it's a payback time, with his current bike & competitors bike (Ducati,Honda, etc) Rossi realize it's nearly impossible to claim the crown next year. Trust me with his current bike no one will even make it to the front row, it just because Rossi factor! Don't you see how fast that Ducati is?!

Confidence is when you know you have the "proven" skill to do what you do. Any success is because you stay within your limits and have the right technique etc.
Arrogance is when you believe that you have more skill than you actually do. Any success is usually due more to luck than anything else.

I think Rossi doesn't being arrogance!
