Its gotta be frustrating when you're the best/most talented rider on the circuit and essentially relegated to spectator as a result of your sub par bike/tire package. It's true the Yahama has never been the fastest, but it's also true that it's progressively getting worse. The best rider should at least be on competitive equipment....clearly he is not. I hope that Rossi gets his opportunity to put the smack down once again and reclaim what is rightfully his. Yamaha rested on its laurels and the competition blew by em. He's got every right to call em out on it and light a fire under their *****.

Hey the facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored as has been previously mentioned... I dont hate anyone actually just do not beleave in fairy tales either, I follow more the technical facts than emotional!
Rossi in 'fact' and since the tyre rule change has been beaten by THREE total new comers to the premier class racing.
Hayden 06 then Stoner and Pedrosa 07 there can be no denying that the three new guys have way less experience on moto gp machinery than Rossi, so given equal advantage then Rossi just is not that much better based on this stat. Would Rossi beat Stoner on eaqual machinery??? no not necessarily at all its not a forgon conclusion by any means, emotions aside!!!

Woooooow Marty! Listen to yourself! Do you HONESTLY believe that if Rossi was on the exact same machinery as Stoner, that Stoner would beat him? Are you serious? OMG! I think you're the only person who does. I bet Stoner doesn't even believe that. It's one thing to dislike a rider but, to start reaching for the stars is something totally different. It's o.k. to dislike Rossi I suppose but, wait till someone has hmmmmm 7 world titles or so before you say they are better than the "average" Rossi. I think I may said this before but, Rossi is KING!

Exactly Hayden beat Rossi in 06..... and Hayden was hardly impressive in doing so in taking the title then as he did which leaves Rossi looking well... average without having a tyre advantage they were both on the same Michelins! same goes for 07. A good rider will overcome disadvantages if he is genuinly vastly superior and not just "lucky". Yamaha and Honda same tyres again and HRC again beat Rossi but with "another rider" So Hayden then Pedrosa and Stoner all relative newcommers to MotoGP beat Rossi. "Thats the rest of the story"

Consider also Stoner in 07 was on equal machinery to two experienced gp riders Loris Capirosi and also Alex Barros and they had difficulty matching his also...

Marty are saying that Flukey Hayden is rubbish and beat Rossi and therefore that makes Rossi rubbish, Flukey only beat Rossi on points not race wins, his championship was won by default not effort and is hollow and unconvincing

No way Rossi won all his titles when he had a distinct tyre advantage with Michelin..... what the rossi groupies fail to acknowledge or simply do not understand more likely is that Michelin supplied him with the "overnight specials" take away that advantage and you see the rest of the story.... like it or not he aint that great! Hayden beat him in 06 consider the reality there and another new comer Stoner beats him in 07 face the facts ok!

everyone to just hold on and twist the throttle. That means, whoever has the best bike wins. I do agree that you have to be a good rider to be able to manuver it around a track but, if you are a "good" rider and catch a "better" rider on straights like Stoner did to Rossi in China, where is the race between riders? It's just a battle between machines. If that were the case, we should just make the bikes radio-controlled. In the old days some riders did have adavntages machine-wise(Rossi) and this is why Rossi went to Yamaha. To prove that he could win on one of the slowest bikes on the grid. Put Stoner on the Yamaha and I think we all know what the result will be. Rossi is KING!

Give him a competitive package, I don't even think it has to be the best, just competitve and I'm willing to bet money that he'll be on top again. The guy is one of the greatest riders of all time and I don't feel that people can deny him that because he's had a couple of bad seasons. I've said this before and I'll say this again, the bikes those guys race get better and better every year, especially when it comes to electronics. With that being said, it's a little harder to simply "Override" a slower bike to victory like Rossi used to because alot of the old techniques used by the older riders are thrown out the door due to the electronics thus allowing------Continued below.............

Rossi is the greatest! I know may be a cliche but, ooh well. He's proven it over and over again. If you think I'm lying, ask Max, ask Sete, ask Nicki, ask Stoner. Yeah, yeah he lost to Nicki last year but, where was Nicki THIS year and where was Rossi? Yes, Stoner beat him but, who was that right behind him in points up to the last of the season this season? Hmmmmm could it be Rossi? I think so. On a bike that was 15-20kmph slower according to Rossi. I can understand people wanting to give Casey credit because he does in fact deserve it but, to call Rossi over the hill and say he doesn't have it anymore??? WOW! Continued below...

gina is a joke.... just a lone and desperate clown fan whos run out of lame excuses and hot air!

I just find it oh so funny how these rossi groupies (not the true Val fans) find the lamest and most pathetic of excuses for not acknowledging that Stoner is indeed a superb rider. To suggest that the other Ducati riders are either too old or under orders to go slow gives an insight as to theri immature and deluded mindset... a true fan is one who admires the achievment and dedication of anyone/tem who assends to pinicle of motogp regardless. These few clownish groupies infact only really deminish themselves and show there lack of understanding for what it is that makes this sport so great!

Kelly, well, Rossi lovers are equally as dedicated, otherwise the forum would be very one sided. I used to like him a lot, but not much now.

By the way, anyone know where Gina went to. I expected a lot more anti-stoner posts, but she's gone all quiet.
