Trigg , Colin has enthusiasm as Tech 3 saved his GP career and Colin couldn't gripe about the Yamaha as he was never fast enough.
James , has yet to ride it ?
When another rider is as quick on the M1 as Rossi then perhaps we can criticise him but until then give the lad a break.... remember 7 times champion in the GP series by age 26 is bloody incredible and if his bike is competitive he will be battling for wins.

Anthony Gobert , Toseland won this years title against Bayliss , Biaggi , Corser , Haga and was in no way lucky.
On a DEALER bike not full works bike , and ended season with more points than the other riders , what is he supposed to do .... you really are a **** su***r.
Also , if you are gonna pick a racers name as your sign in then make it one who actually won a world title... so you're a loser as well.

toseland may have the skills ... unfortunately the yamaha has a very bad reputation ... since the 4 stroke era only biaggi and rossi has won on it ... many have failed which include Checa (gp winner with honda 500, never on yamaha), Melandri (250 champ, never on yam, wins a few on honda) , Nakano (250 runner up), Jacque (250 champ), Barros (won two with honda before switching sides) ... some rated Melandri as equal to Rossi, but he struggled ... toseland could be better with other manufacturer, definately not yamaha ...

Well , after the mauling Yamaha have had this season from Rossi i'm sure they will produce something a little more competetive for 2008 .. fingers crossed.

I don't think Toes should put himself under too much pressure in the first year of his contract. Firstly the Yam has been the worst bike on the grid this year (Excluding the underpowered KR) Only the brilliance of Rossi and his crew have been able to do anything with it. However, who knows what the 08 Yamaha is going to be like??
In the meantime let's see how JT compares to Edwards. If he can get into the top ten in any of the races I'd be pleased. Top six and I'll buy a round....!! :)

Why is Edwards still in motogp? Sure he's a likeable enough guy - but he's had some top bikes and done absolutely FA. He was an awesome superbike rider and should have gone back 2 seasons ago where he would have been fighting for wins and championships not scrapping for 10th. Hope Yamaha and Michelin get their finger out as I really don't want to see JT go down the same route as other Brits. On a good package I think he will do well and suprise a few of the pessimists.

The Yamaha would have looked better if it stood on different shoes.
Agreed, the engine failures weren't a good advertisement but still. some tyres with a B. could've done wonders,
it's been been like Holiday on Ice this year for Fiat Yamaha.
