James Toseland showed his worth and talent in WSBK and will do in Motogp after he adjusts to the difference in styles of bikes, 2008 will be a learning year then watch out if he adjusts well :) ;) :D

this could turn into an intresting battle. dont forget, if both toseland and lorenzo are fast and get factory support, the challenge of rossi beckons. if lorenzo or toseland even get close to rossi, they,ll get tied to yamaha for eternity

Northern Europeans cool-headed? Who told the French guy that? Has that poor sod seen Dovizioso ride? You can almost "see" him thinking on this bike.

Lorenzo is a class act, with or without 'go faster' aprilia, and there isn't the great step from 250's as there was.. I'd imagine that he'd demand better equipment than the tech 3 guys, though Edwards should get full factory support also as he had yr of yamaha deal to go if I remember correctly...can't see how Toseland could demand similar.. if he was so in demand, motogp wise, wouldn't Honda have picked him up on eve a sat' bike ? I think he took the best deal on table and, maybe, yamaha will give more input if he performs to certain levels... just a guess. Dean.

lorenzo won races on the derbi in 125cc - the derbi is not what the derbi is today, an aprilia with derbi stickers, it was a different engine and different chassis,. no one ever didi sh1t on that bike, this guy won races. lorenzo and dovi on the same bike my bet is lorenzo wins, not by far but still has a lot more agression than dovi. andrea is more precise etc but tc kill that on motogp bikes.

Slower 20kph on top speed doesn't make Yamaha a bad bike. It just Stoner never think his wild Ducati as a bad bike since he was wild aggressive too when riding a bike. So both he and his bike a perfect match and giving him more wins than he think he could get.

Beside Stoner's GP7, who's bike that has more wins than Rossi's M1? No time-limits to answer this question... :p

It's all mindset disease after Stoner going unstoppable. Everyone got panics and said Ducati was fast on the straight line. Wouldn't we've hear that already since the 1st day Ducati return to MotoGP scene. If they don't buy say it tire, next the factory, next what else... oh yeah the tarmac to slippery because it's new...!
