And it never was when Rossi was winning? Bull***** That guy had so many advantages handed to him it was ridiculous!

Michelin wins for 40 years straight, it's cool.
Bridgestone wins one year, change the rules.

Honda wins for several years in a row with Rossi on board, it's exciting.
Honda wins with Hayden on board, change the rules.
Ducati wins one year with Stoner on board: PLEASE CHANGE THE RULES!!!!!

Rossi wins for 5 years, it's Rossi and exciting.
Hayden and Stoner win for two years, it's boring, it's the bike, it's the tires, change the rules.

C'mon... Get a grip.

MOTOGP » Edwards explains Schumacher speed.

How did Michael Schumacher lap just five seconds slower than the MotoGP lap record?

Well there you go. To go fast you have to turn it down. Since Stoner was the fastest then he must have had it turned down the most. This certainly puts to rest the BS that has been sprouted about Stoner being no good if he didn't have TC.

Wonder what the doubters will come up with now!

Parker the reason Stoner is soooo good he was raised on Emu Eggs and Kangaroo Steaks, therefore he had the advantage over all non Aussie riders, just wait till the Europeans get their teeth into a Kangaroo that is if they can catch one thats traction control ;) ;) ;)

YES!! THANK YOU COLIN!

Agree wholeheartedly, Parker. The Casey doubters will have to look for another excuse. This also fits quite nicely with Hayden's comments about doing the best when he turned the electronics down.

"wtf does he know..."

I would have thought having ridden in MotoGP for the past five years Edwards would know exactly what he is talking about... He certainly knows a lot more than Dovizioso or any of us that post here...

He also said at the start of the season that Rossi and him would kick *** this year. Colin s lost all his credibility.
Every relevant bike mag in europe has tried the moto gp bikes. Read the reviews and check which one s tipped as the easiest to ride.
Dead horse though.

Just for the record, I am not a Stoner fan but I don't think TC helped him this year. His background is all about throttle control form the dirt tracks (correct me if I'm wrong Antipodeans).

Chu ... i imagine the Yamaha is being mooted by Journos as the easiest to ride , that is the case at the pace journalists ride at , when they are running 10-15 seconds a lap slower than a race time i'm sure the bike is easy , it's when it get's to racing speeds it may change ( also easy to ride may = slow !! )
As for Ducati , of course that had traction control , never ever saw him slide the rear out of a corner ( in the wet @ Melbourne Loop at Donington he just drove outta that corner with no slip at all , Yam had wheelspin as did Honda's !! )
Casey was still quality though as the other 3 Dukes were nowhere.

But i never said Casey wasnt good. I do say he s not 150 points better than Pedrosa or Rossi.
As for the othe rdukes, to me Loris is finioshed, seriously. Barros ... nebver got a MaMa tech for eectronics or a suspension tech, plus after beating Casey at Mugello, Domenicali told d'antin that his riders weer not going to end in front of the factory again.. Hoffmann is not a top level guy anyway.
Again im not saying Casey didnt deserve, but the chship was clearly influenced big time by tyre and bike differences
