All your hard work is not in vain Nicky. Keep it up. We all notice that. When the tenure's over many manufacturers will want your services, and hopefully things will get going again.

It must be a good feeling for (Ducati) Casey and Marco to know that the GP7 seems already be competitive with the 2008 models from the Japanese manufacturers..
Let's wait and see wat the GP8 will bring..

Nicky at least you have some hopes that they will come up with new parts,
and Honda probably does (we saw during 2007 that they are able to do the Job)
(I have heard some rumours that both Saltbush and Morgue have been aproached by Honda to develop a new valve system..)So be patience!!

Knees; rumours persist that Ducati will have 2 motors available next year a high reving short stroke, and torquey long stroke, if the non mounted Ducati riders have heard this no wonder they are starting to push the panic pedal.
More later on the valve train offer from Honda I have the drawing board,Morque has the pencil, as Aussie's say "she be right" the rest of the world says "be patience"

I've my pencil out a long time now, it is slowly getting cold,
always in favour of long strokes though, the looonger the better. ;)

I agree the long strokes sounds better, altough a nice screaming high reving engine isn´t that bad either..
At the moment they (Ducati)reving the engine at the safe side because of the fuel limitations.
I wonder how they going to solve that problem, but again Shell is a strong partner, with loads of money..

There's no reason to think that Honda won't come up with a competitive package for 2008. Now that they've got a target to shoot at - Ducati - they won't make the same mistake they did entering 2007 with an underpowered bike.

Presumably if Dani has decided to test in Jerez, then Honda has told him to expect new parts and perhaps more power. Otherwise, why would he waste his valuable time by actually showing up for work?

Remember what Kenny Roberts said, "There's only one motor company in Japan" - Honda. They'll be back in '08 with a fast bike, don't doubt that.

Knees;I believe the reason that Ducati can make quick changes/modifications is that they are a"SMALL COMPANY"with hands on engineers, where as the Japs rely on computers and have to have committee meetings before making any change from the original drawing.Stoner in an interview in Australia before his first race for Ducati said he felt like he'd walked into home when he walked into the Ducati pit, they let him have his set ups although at that time the crew thought he was mad.The Japs believe that the computer knows better than their World Champion at the time and "change your style to suit bike",modifing style yes, change impossible.Poor Nicky I hope 08 is better for his exciting wild style

Saltbush your hilarious. You think Ducati has anything on Honda when it comes to making a winning race bike. Honda has been dominating at the HIGHEST LEVEL of Bike racing for years. How many championships has Ducati won at this level. Then you go on to say the Japanese (not japs you retard)rely on computers and that Ducati is hands on. I guess if we walked into Ducati's engineering dept, we wouldn't see a single computer. Funny how you referred to Ducati as Ducati and not the Italians. Yet Honda was referred to as the "Japs." Racist much? Get a clue dumbass.

Tank, Ducati has been in MotoGP for four years, yet has already won a championship and by a large margin, think.
