All your hard work is not in vain Nicky. Keep it up. We all notice that. When the tenure's over many manufacturers will want your services, and hopefully things will get going again.

Yeah I know, this wintertesting is a bit like hibernating, ay?
We all come out in spring again ;)
Still interesting to see what the factories are up to at the moment
and to see the blokes on their new kit. :)

"Mr" Syntax, English is not my native tongue, and I use the spell checker in firefox, I don't think I need more than that on a forum. As Morgue say, it all starts and ends with humans and CAD/CAM are just an aid (a great one) to accelerate the design process, which is very tricky!! Colin Chapman the man behind Lotus said onces: "If it breaks its too light, if it holds its too heavy!", so go figure.... :-) If one sees Casey's year it is very obvious that when the rider have the right "feeling" with the bike the rider can win. Rossi himself said it is all about feeling and trust for what the bike/tires are doing down under.

Bayliss lost the title to Edwards after Ducati made some changes to the 998 which results that TB lost the good feeling with the bike. Casey never knew what is going on with his front last year, while this year he knows exactly what is going on. Honda had a tendency of making far too stiff frames. Both Doohan an Rossi had that problem in some periods. All Foggy needed to regain his supremacy (his last title) was his "old" and less stiff fork. I think the same problem he had on the RC45, thus far too stiff bike with no feedback on what the tire is doing, and Foggy liked Ohlins while the RC45 had Showa.

Good comments Guy, I think you're doing a good job with your English , I try too...
very childish to criticise people for that.
I think Randy de Puniet did a great thing by changing the suspension to Öhlins on the LCR Honda, it may just be the answer.
Computer aided design is not the answer or goal but you can't do without it anymore, it's a high pressure environment
and there's not a lot of time. Look at Pasini, he probably lost the title because of a little engine part that kept failing,
a very costly problem. Once they solved it it was a great bike. Hope Bradley Smith stays free from engine failure and that he can challenge the Martinez gang ;)
