Interesting. He is fit enough to compete in a WRC car, but not fit enough to be spending his time testing and trying improve the Yamaha that he has whinged about all season???
Priorities seem all wrong here. Glad I'm not paying his salary.

Good to see he can still win at something then.

Hehe! He told you he couldn't win on Michelins! :p :p

(I know they don't compete in WRC, it was a joke)

Good going! :) It means his broken hand is healing well ;)
Hope Jerez is dry so we can see some decent testing.

No Pete, he just has to go at it :p
You probably expect immediate results, like the way they watch Toseland with Hawkeyes,
I see it as a test and have good hope. Unlike some people here I don't question his abilities.

Larry, driving a car is easier on the hands then a bike. A hand fracture would be hard to brake with as you have to squeeze hard, as well as be pushing on the clipons to turn.
A car he is shifting and steering.

This may be true of driving a normal car, but a rally car???
Watch any race and see the massive vibrations and twisting forces that come through the steering wheel. I think the battering that the hands get through the steering wheel are just as bad, if not worse, than on a bike.

Morgue - I don't know what you mean about expecting immediate results.
I don't expect Toseland to be immediately at the top of the timesheets (if ever) as he is totally new to MotoGP.
Rossi is however a multiple MotoGP world champion, lauded by some as the best rider ever, so I would expect him to get up to speed quickly with new tyres.
