Who knows he might go even better this year, I hope Marco learns the bike bloody quick or else I can see Casey destroying every rider in every session in every round. I really think he's gonna be another superstar. Of course I believe the bike is the "best", but it looks like you've got to be one hell of a rider to wring it's neck and get the most out of it. I still don't understand how people can doubt this guy's class? :?

MOTOGP » Stoner fastest on GP8 debut.

Casey Stoner's inaugural outing on the Ducati Desmosedici GP8 proved a profitable one, with the new MotoGP world champion finishing the first day of the Jerez test on top of the timesheets.

How predictable!? I reckon it'll take all of this season for the top manufacturers to close the gap on Ducati but this stage next season he won't be dominating like he is!

Hi race fans....

i do hope the ducati doesnt have an advantage in a straight line like in 08 because that got very boring last season. Yes iam a Rossi fan but i have nothing against the others (apart from Hopper)i just need a fair race, no tyre issues and no one sodding off down the straights, with a bike that fast in a straight line i dont think it does anything for the sport, but you do have to give them a pat on the back for producing such a good bike i suppose.

Sounds ominous, "I felt at home as soon as I stepped onto the GP08" same words were used when Stoner walked into the Ducati pits in 07. Looks as though plate number #1 won't be used, Stoner learns quick, besides he has much #27 merchandise to sell, could be an interesting 08, although this only testing most of the top times are close.
