Hope the injury is nothing too serious for Casey.
That Ducati looks a bit of a handful - quick but untamed.
Melandri is really struggling with it, and Casey suffering a highside suggest the electronics / traction control are not yet working correctly.
Ducati have a bit of work to do before Sepang I guess.

Definitely a bummer for the young fella but the timing is not as bad as it could have been. Gives him a chance to have an early break and come back next year and pulverise everybody again. No doubt the new machine is fast. Marco might appreciate the chance to keep working without the pressure of his times being compared with Casey's. Reckon he's doing alright, though. Early days.

Not one race crash during 2007, you must be kidding.
Rossi was more the crasher in 2007.

It is easy to draw this conclusion and certainly premature but....The gap appears to have closed and perhaps Casey is pushing a little harder and perhaps he is having trouble finding the limit wihout going over it.. again. It is a cheap shot but an obvious one. I hope he is ok and I'm sure he can raise his game again once he settles into the GP8.

Stoner had fast bike, tyre, electronics in 2007, but towards the end some manufacturers manage to get close to his package. This was obvious as Dani matched his speed. That became Stoner's last HURRAH to win as he obviously does know how to enter and exit any turns (see his weird choice of lines). The few races he got caught, showed he has no answer except to get back the lead on the straight. Poor Stoner, you will be exposed in 2008 as the other manufacturers matches Ducati's package.

Looking at the time, Dani and Rossi were faster than Casey's one yesterday.
Very interesting.
Because every racer and machine has its limit.
Ducati's GP8 would have superior advantage for next season like 2007?
I doubt it.

Stoner is a talented rider. Becoming the world champion can't be done by luck, needs consistance for the whole season.

Suppose Rossi or other winner contenders have competitive machines compared to Ducati's GP8, it would be unpredictable 2008 season.

History repeats again?
:)
