Quick straw poll, does ANYONE want traction control for their road bikes? I don't!

I'd love to see the bikes allowed slipper clutches and that's about it! Forget traction control, launch control, anti wheelie control, etc. Let's see some good ol' fashioned RACING! I want to see drama, I want to see powerslides!

Christ! Even F1 is banning stuff again! :?

MOTOGP » Honda one-two as 2007 concludes - but...

Repsol Honda scored an impressive one-two during the final day of 2007 testing, at Jerez in Spain on Thursday - but with its 'old' machine.

Impressive as it is to finish the tests on top, it's a bit concerning that both riders did their best times on the 2007 bikes. :-o

"We have a bit of work to do" says Nicky Hayden, yeah you could say that! :p

Yep, Honda are fast workers alright....considering they have the biggest building and 3 times as many workers than the next biggest factory.
So now its a matter of time to see if The Kentucky Fried Kid and Pedrobot can ride as good as the Champ. So far I see a Ducati and two Honda's in front of the first Yamaha.

Altough I am not a Honda fan, I must admit that Dani and Nicky did some realy fast laps..(great class) Is it a sign that all the first riders are riding Michelin??

So all the blame is to Michelin for underperforming all season.
And all merit is again down to Michelin for those fast laps in Jerez.
What would happen if Michelin match Bridgestone's performance in 08?

PROGRESS; Honda engineers have much data to prove the 08 Honda is not as good as the 07 Honda, 12months hard work to come up with a Hinda. Don't throw out the 07 drawings and data 08 Ground Hog Year

All very premature conclusions, They are working on a new type of valve steering and just have to sort it out.
Still some months to go. If they still haven't got it right in qualifying for the Qatar race you can start to get worried.
Funny how people are now hailing the '07 bike that was earmarked as a failure at the beginning of the season ;)

I think the bike that most improved over the course of the year WAS the Honda but only because it was so obviously lacking compared to just about everyone at the start. Look how well Dani Pedrosa went in those final 4 races! Even Nicky Hayden got on the podium regularly near the end of the year. ;)

Remember how Dani overtook Casey at Valencia in a straight line... :-o :-o
He wouldn't have been able to at the start of the year!
