Quick straw poll, does ANYONE want traction control for their road bikes? I don't!

I'd love to see the bikes allowed slipper clutches and that's about it! Forget traction control, launch control, anti wheelie control, etc. Let's see some good ol' fashioned RACING! I want to see drama, I want to see powerslides!

Christ! Even F1 is banning stuff again! :?

MOTOGP » Honda one-two as 2007 concludes - but...

Repsol Honda scored an impressive one-two during the final day of 2007 testing, at Jerez in Spain on Thursday - but with its 'old' machine.

Anti Rubbish, all the MotoGp riders could do wonders on a decent bike if they are given one Kurtis probably more so ;)

Rubbish, he can do wonders with a decent bike if they give him one,
others need the fastest machine to become champ.

I tend to agree there have been some amount of "hysteria" this year..
He can't have the best bike and win the WC every year.

Btw, I'm NOT a Rossi hater!
He has given me many good moments through his years of racing :)

I've watched the GP's since 86 and have seen many races where the leader just runs away. Stoner doing that is nothing new..

And, yeah, Nicky seems like a cool guy.
Usually not blaming others, just saying he has to work harder himself..

The questrioner is pretty disrespectful towards Valentino Rossi ('hysteria'),
good to see that Nicky shows his respect to the seven times world Champion when trying to answer it.

Thanx SuzukiBoy, very interesting read,
Good to see he gets a bike that fits him and his riding style, he really deserves it ;-)
btw Rossi was accused not actually fined (the $58 dollar he talks about) because he really lives in London.
Same thing with Capirossi, in august 2007 the Italian tax office accused him but he really lives in Monaco
and owns no property in Italy.

Here is a comment from Hayden regarding TC..

Near the bottom of the page he's asked about Schumachers Ducati ride.

I was referring to cars, not to an accident.
But anyway, we expect racers to be in control of their bikes don't we,
us mere mortals may need some help to stay on the road ;)
