Steady on Tonyed! It's not like Stoner is complaining about his income (that I'm aware of anyway).

If we were back in 'yesteryear' Stoner would probably have paid to race just like those 'great men'?!.... and I'm sure all of those 'great men' would be getting paid millions if they were racing now... Just the way it is.

At least the motorsport guys can justify their money in terms of putting their life on the line.

Being the lowest paid world champion is a difficult claim to substantiate given the way that Motogp has changed over the years but I certainly understand the point you're making RichieRich.

The Stoner family and Ducati all appear to have won handsomely with the 2007 deal.

Good luck to him, he deserved every cent !

TH - your comment is spot on it made me smile. A very good description of UK. If you ever lived in the UK you would know thats just the way life is there. I recently left the UK, and until I left I didnt realise that the UK orbits planet GB. Maybe its small island mentality. I nearly collapsed recently when I realised that the world wasnt revolving around us! Imagine that (lol) :-o

I'm earning $1million a week for the next three years and I'm always injured Scoff! Scoff!

So if any of you motogp riders are a bit hard up give me a shout and I'll buy the team

or even the championship

At least 'M' unlike US residents UK residents actually realise there is something else out there.

No one should envy David Beckham. His wealth did not come easy. Imagine he had to adorn his body with all those irremovable artwork aka tattoo :-o

I see some David Beckham wannabees in Motogp

. There are some who adorn themselves with ear-rings and act like clowns. It's too bad that they had to be clad in leathers, so no chance to show off any tattoos.

Anyway, he'll be down to about 30th on the list when the cricketers start getting their share of the pay TV profits, the days of a few grand for a test match are well and truly gone.

Ducati made a great package deal for 2007 a "World Champion" who had to supply his own "Umbrella Girl" a bargin at 4.2 million he must be doing it for love not money

I see a Grromm wannabee (or should I say walibi) that is making misuse of the name to discredit a great rider like Valentino Rossi by making infantile remarks about the way he looks.
