I like Hayden. Hard working guy, maybe not the most talended, but pure determination. If he does well next year, it's becasue of him, not because Honda favors him

Nicky's a class act, always has been.

Don't bet against him if the bike and tires are anywhere close to being right next season.

He's as talented as anybody - except maybe Rossi - but talent only goes so far in this game. It's widely agreed that Anthony Gobert is one of the most naturally talented riders to suit up over the last few years. Talent without the right attitude and a strong work ethic adds up to very little.

Nice guy, hope he does well in 2008 and shows Stoner his true pace as a racer. Nicky on a bike like Stoner would win all the races too I'm sure of that. Honda in 2006 was a great bike, they put Nicky on it and look what happened when Rossi has bad reliablity. Nicky Won!

Agree with everyone else, although he was lucky in 2006 - he has a great attitude, doesn't make excuses and is modest in MotoGP amongst the greats.

A fine American, and far more interesting to watch than his team mate. People tease the dude because of his accent, but diversity makes MotoGP interesting. We don't want Rossi's mad antics all the time, and Nicky is a million miles away from an eccentric Italian, yet cool.

Nice one Grumpy.

Reading in between your lines.
Slag Stoner, praise Hayden, but then knock him because of Rossi's bad
reliability was the only reason he won.

Great fan of Hayden then?

All round great rider and sportsman. Just wish he had more respect
from Honda.

Capirex commented that it was right for ducati to back Stoner when he's the stronger one. Will we ever hear that from Hayden?

why would we expect to?

Hayden...: coping mentally very strong when he had that blow from pedrosa last year after a few acting moments of anger - but response to all of it and to pedrosa himself - more than fair.
yet in phillip island same year- a protest againt rossi - was a sign of a panic attack and it brought that hidden anger and weakness out of his personality .
liked him more before I saw his website...but in general its good to have him there.
rode better this year?
yes and no -- during the whole season - think he had moments of better and worse riding throughout. patchy.
hope he recovers OK

I admire Hayden as a racer and human being, very honest and hard working.Honda treat him like dirt which i find bizzare. I wonder if Hayden is really regretting showing his loyalty to Honda when he could have gone to Ducati?
Honda have shown him no respect at all.
