I see the loathing goes deep Ace, calling him a criminal and such.
The Italian tax office is after Capirossi too, for the second time, as well as various football players.
In Rossis case (and Caprrossis, he lives in Monaco) they are dealing with someone that lives abroad, he has a house in London and one in Ibiza. They try to make a case over cars he has registrered in Italy and thus try to 'prove' he lives there,
which is bull**** because he already left in his last year of 250 when it was becoming impossible to walk the streets in Italy because of all the fans chasing him.
He will work it out, don't accuse someone if you don't know the facts.

MOTOGP » Rossi: My dream is to stay

During Friday's Fiat Yamaha team launch, at Turn in Italy, Valentino Rossi unsurprisingly faced questions about his post-2008 plans.

Am curious to know why, if Rossi has had it easy all these years, why do pretty much all the "real" experts consider him one of the best of all time. I'm talking Mamola, Rainy, Scwantz etc as well as all the commentators. Perhaps they just really don't know what they are talking about like all the armchair critics here and have been hoodwinked all these years?

In Italy virtually everyone will at some stage be under investigation by the tax office. Italians and expats. It is almost part of the culture. But either way, it doesn't really have anything to do with motogp does it? I mean should a rider be docked points if he drops litter in the street? does 40 in 30? Starts a fight outside a strip bar with a bouncer (ahem)?

Oh I think he is very very very good, but when he's winning it's all him and when he's losing it's the bike. For Stoner when he wins it's all about the bike and when he loses it's his fault. I don't understand why this is, I really do believe Stoner is a very very good rider also.

P.S. I wouldn't take too much notice of the Italians accusing each other of corruption, they're all at it!

It amuses me that people are still so frightened of Rossi that they would like him removed from the sport or even thrown in jail!!

It shows a great lack of faith in whoever you support. & Is very very telling.

Poor sportsmanhip what a load of boll0cks ALL riders will try to get the best components any how any way , then the taxs crap well you sad barst**** that got sod all to do with racing .Now i've got that out the way i say if Bridgestone don't give Rossi the same input as other top Bridgestone runners they will lose the championship to Michelin (Pedrosa).like i've said in the past Rossi main talent was being able to use max power on throttle control sadly thats now gone so he has to rely on the bike been competitive more and more as technology moves on.

Frightened of Rossi? Why because he's dominated the last two seasons?

Slow Joe = That has to be the most apt name i've ever seen! LOL; So you think Bridgestone should automatically back Rossi more than the other top Bridgestone runners? Why? Why put the emphasis on developing for the sole Bridgestone Yamaha anyway? I'm sure Bridgestone will aid Rossi for marketing reasons but whether they should for racing, research and development is another question.

Stoner has proved he is more than capable and I don't think rider error really impacted his dominant season, though I must admit I'm not (quite) bored enough to watch every interview, so if you say so...

Hi Mr Moto didn't say that Bridgestone should back Rossi more that other Bridgestone users but they should give him as much attention as the other top runners its just what Ace said cheers

Mr Moto, would u mind shuttin ur motormouth for a while??? Mr Moto,,hahahaha That has to be the most stupid name i've ever seen!LOL; calling himself MotorMouth..lol.

And to correct you once again Mr motormouth, Rossi is by far the best racer & best bike-tyre developer on the grid. Bridgestone better be supplying good tyres to Rossi, if not then bridgestones dont deserve Rossi. Simple as that!

Well Motormouth i agree with you on "I really do believe Stoner is a very very good rider......... ALSO." Can't deny that. Cheers
