OK lets put this in perspective, he's fractured a tiny bone in his hand, hardly a broken pelvis is it? And what does he do - catches the first flight home to mamma! Could you really see someone like Schwantz or Doohan copping out over a scratch. He's payed a shed full of dosh to take it, injuries go with the territory. He should have taken some pain killers and seen a doc after the tests. Total effing wimp IMO!

Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa has undergone surgery in Spain to help heal his fractured right-hand, damaged during a fiery fall at Sepang in Malaysia on Tuesday (pictured).

The reason why Sepang is so popular is that it is a track that has a bit of everything,
combined with high temperatures (close to the equator) that make it tough on tyres.
That is why they do multiple tests there, even though the humidity makes it very tough on the riders and it shas occasional torrential downpours. So if you ask riders and engineers Sepang is their preferred reference track.
Jerez is another one.

Yeah thats not a good idea....something is up with that, PI is to big to miss, maybe Rossi needs to recover or the engines are going back to Japan for more dyno work, they seem to be short on air for the valves....maybe they need a revised design????
