What I dont understand is that everyone of these riders are soooooooo much better than anyone else on the planet! there are so many haters and uninformed ******* making comments that just dont make sense. Nicky has to do the development because the Spanish Hobbit does not have enough stamina or humility to do the hard work If Honda built the bike for Nicky he would be a force to be reckoned with every race

MOTOGP » Hayden fastest - with the 'wrong' bike!

"The pneumatic-valve engine - as much as I hate to say it - is just not fast enough" - Nicky Hayden.

It''s about time Nicky started to speak up a little. Maybe he now realises that his future no longer lies with this manufacturer. Honda have never had faith in him and they now seem to have lost direction. Grasping at straws with six weeks to the off is not good news.

Good job Nicky, even if it is a Q tire.
He put in a ton of laps this week.

Also glad to see Hopper as the quickest bridgestone rider.

It's a little bit surprising Honda is no longer the expert engine maker it once was, with several competitors already having developed their pneumatic engines to a high degree and running with little problems.

Ominous that they can't make an engine decision so shortly before the start of the season,
hope they can work it out. Hope Nicky gets what he deserves ;)

I bet other teams wish they had Honda's problem. Sorted chasis, which can accept either the old powerfull 2007 engine or the all new loads of potential 2008 engine. Plus they have two of the fastest riders on the grid. Some problem!
Oh dear Valentino; out ridden by your rookie team mate. Similar to F1 last year re Alonso and Hamilton?

I try not to read too much into test times because they are going over so many details that the times are not going to reflect the true potential.

It will be interesting to see which direction Honday/Yamaha and the others follow as far as engine development.

One thing is for sure...Ducati has always been the most powerful bike on the grid so one has to think that at some point the desmo valve will lead to new ways of thinking when it comes to engine design.

Guess we''ll see what happens when the flag drops...at night!
