Casey is a great rider and fair play to him, he has an awesome machine with the best TC set up bar none (Ducati only team with no fish-tailing exiting corners apparently). BUT...unless Rossi & Lorenzo with the works Yamaha M1 have a secret weapon with their engine - we''re all screwed. Pedrosa won''t beat Hayden in my view. Hayden is on it 110% and will use this time to develop the bike his way. So it''s up to Hayden, Rossi and new boy Lorenzo to claw back up to the TC genius that are Ducati and Casey.

I for one don''t want to watch a machine that dominates the competition a second a lap faster than anyone else?

Shades of Ferrari in F1. Wonderful for Ferrari fans but boring for others.

OR the warm and fuzzy view of a perfect ostrich world..... Sure rossi is a sweet guy who never blames his equipment or whinges about other riders or his lot in life. And of course Stoner just got lucky. "AGAIN"...

Stoner is getting all the credit he deserves but I'm not ******* his feet, sorry.

I have put riders performance in another context than some of you apparently might, depending on what background you have and THAT seems to be real problem especcially for the ultra-nationalistic Casey-gang that even seem to have banned Jeremy Burgess for not worshipping the Australian flag. :rolleyes:

So CS-clan, stop bashing and insulting people that either have a different viewpoint than "Wow, Stoner is great" ,disagree with people that say "Dani is a robot" or cite "Rossi is a clown".

Dani is a human. Vale is a human and Casey is too. Keep your feet on the ground.

With only a few bikes on the track at times you could hear everything and In my opinion Stoner uses TC a lot less than most riders even in the wet.

He was lighting up the tire and sliding at different points but on other corners he was as smooth as glass and VERY fast with no audible TC cuts..

The Ducati at 19000 RPM down the main straight was just awesome!

I know ,I'm an Aussie and a little biased but Stoner was supreme at his home track.

I will try and put up some pics on myspace when I get around to it...

stoner looks ominous, he looks like he has some in reserve ...

the most important things from this test is: the other ducatis seem to struggle, the other bridgestones seem to struggle, yet stoner rules. i am no stoner fan but i can see there is trouble on the way for the rest of the field.

further: dani will be back with a vengeance, rossi will ride like he stole it, the youngsters will be queing up to take some scalps

The next test is Sepang.....Yamaha will be there, it is next week. Ducati wont !!

Where and when is the next test and will the yamaha team be there? The Qatar motogp race starts at 23:00 (local time)!!! Thats probably past stoners bed time and poor old rossi will be too tired.

Iam not one to normally make earlt advance predictions early in preseason testing but its a pretty safe bet that based on current lap times and at this stage of testing Stoner will only be stoped again in 08 by one person 'himself'.
We have seen it occur before when Doohan had what was presumed an unbeatable lead position in the championship only to take himself out of contention through personal injury...... So if Casey's 08 season ramains (major) injury free its all in the lap of the young champ as to weather he clears off yet again!!!

OK lets see now what clown boy can pull out of his test hat in reply otherwise.....

Hey Marc I have no intention of crowning Stoner until he has thrashed everbody for 18 rounds plus the Jerez test for the Icing....

Why do peaple keep sighting Assen as proof Rossi is still the best or the Champ, what if he is beaten this year at assen or Mugello.
The Indy GP is going to be sic, Michilen will crumble with the high speed heat generated by the fastest straight...Dam you thought China was bad?

One second ahead of the field!! Good grief. All bow down to the greatest talent we have seen for a generation. You lot may may call his domination boring, I just call it awesome and an inspiration to the rest of the field.Personally I think only Dani can mount a serious challenge to Casey.
