i laugh every time someone mention banning electronics in motorsport.

firstly, electronics are there for all the rides; melandri is on the same bike and is struggling (which to be completely honest has really surprised me). the playing field is level.

secondly, it's like the argument in F1 where people argue that in the 60-70's where we had 4 wheel drift, powerslides etc that the racing was more exciting, and that electronics are to blame. technology moves forward and Dorna/F1 would be sticking their heads in the sand if they didn't embrace these new technologies.

the bottom line is: anything that makes lap times lower is progress. the best riders/drivers will always rise to the top.

oh dear, this looks very ominous.I''m not a Stoner fan but he looks pretty unbeatable at the moment. The least amount of laps and over a second quicker!!!!
Its great to see Toseland 3rd and where are all the Aussies!!!! If Toseland was around 10th,millions of Aussies would be here slagging him off,but its very quiet.
I hope Yamaha give Toseland the best equipement

Why do you come to the conclusion we would be slagging him off.......if you want we could ??

Most of the Aussies have just been watching the Aussies thrash India in a 20/20 match.

Oh and my opinion is good on ya JT !!!!!

Wow another one for the good guys. So we know Casey was testing tyres, Now we can evaluate the test for what it is and it was succesfull. Casey, Ducati and Bridgstone have close to the same margin as last year. Now is a prime time to inform all the peaple that keep asking and saying "who knew" or "nobody thought Casey was fast enough" and "nobody predicted this". Well I did from the PI test last year when Casey was 1.7 sec a lap faster than the next rider.
Now some of you are tuned in you might be able to tell this time round, Its easy when you pay attention and get yourself informed. The best part peaple are reporting Casey TC wasnt ON or engaging. Throttle control peaple, throttle control.

Why would you say that Aussies would be slagging Toseland off? What a rediculous statement.

Aussies defend their WC against immature, uneducated comments from people who feel ripped off because their rider didn't win. I have not read anyone let alone Aussies slagging off Toseland full stop. I think most people hope he does really well. I certainly do and I am an Aussie. I think Toseland is a great bloke, excellent rider and fantastic sport.

No wonder they call him genious, The kid is defeating TC by throttle control....just enough spin for rear stear, max drive and squigly lines. I guess the haters have to drop the TC excuse or get slamed for being uneducated about the situation....wait...that has'nt stopped them before...Oh well they'll get slamed anyway.

:)GO THE GOOD GUYS :)

Ace: "...The best part peaple are reporting Casey TC wasnt ON or engaging..."

Probably the Ducati power mapping done by his engineers is so acurate the the TC is not engaging.
So why bin not completely? Too dangerous???

One question for you who think Casey is amazing. If the TC isn't engaged why Stoner doesn't want Dorna to ban electronics?if electronics dont help Stoner be that fast why is he so afraid of not having them?Rossi is a good rider so he is not afraid of it.Why Stoner is?and pls don't forget the Phillip Island race when Stoner had a very big advantage at the long straight and Rossi was still 3rd.i mean when Capirossi overtook him it was as if Rossi stood still at the long straight. If Rossi wasn't such a good rider he would have been sth lower than 3rd.and what about Assen?when was the throttle control you are talking about?Stoner should learn how to brake earlier and open the throttle sooner...
