Urm... Don't John Hopkins, Marco Melandri and Pedrosa base themselves in England for exactly the same reasons?

You don't even know what you're talking about.
You don't know the facts, condemn a person without reading the story,
criminalizing him without being in a position to do so.
You are not a judge, nor a tax collector.

Im all for reducing taxes, but when a multi millionair is cheating the system thats bad in my books, again tax reduction good, tax avoidence bad. :)

Marty,
Try putting "Stoner" in the context of the tax-story about "Rossi" and then form an opinion again.
I assume you'll have difficulties to be objective and won't consider Stoner a "crook" then?

Again, in principle I agree, but the fact is that it is legally possible to optimise your taxscheme and that makes Rossi legally "honest". If it would not be he'd live in Monaco "like all the other crooks" ;) ;)

Ace I agree. ;)

Switzerland, Monaco and also Britain are "tax-havens" which abuse the rest of the world ( Don't even mention the Caymans). Although it is morally incorrect, it is the legal system in Britain, in the case of Rossi, that needs to make sure it is not possible to use loop-holes to dodge legally tax.

Again, morally I agree with you, BUT legally Rossi is using a system everyone uses. If it wouldn't exist he'd go to Switzerland or more likely Monaco. Basically that does not change ANYTHING, but makes it strangely enough, acceptable for most!

Actually Switzerland AND Monaco a morally ultra-corrupt countries that abuse the rest of the world but Britain is playing "angelface".

Actually Harry, After last years debarcle I think he is...totaly. He made a cocious effort to avoid tax by creating companies to distence himelf personally from any buisness going on, that why he has 8 companies between himself and the companies trading associates.
Nobody "hires" Valentino Rossi, you engage his companies in trade, you hire the company not the man himself. His company's CEO does the signing, Vale just gives the nod.
Its well knowen you need a web of companies between yourself and the gov. to keep yourself out of any danger from criminal activities. And yes Tax evasion is a criminal activity.

Marty, you seem to be deaf and blind to any reasonable interpretation which is differing from your own shortsighted one.

Sorry, but your "Black or White" (Rossi or Stoner)comments are completely ludicrous.

Try putting your idol into Rossi's case and see what you'd come up with then. Probably exactly the opposite, as Stoner is honest, like all australians are, and Italians are all mafia like Rossi...
