I never thought I'd say this about a top Japanese bike racing boss, but I quite like this Furusawa. He comes across quite well, bit of a sense of humour and isn't shy with the technical info. Also, when was the last time a HRC official (for exmaple) said he had respect for a rider's style and wouldn't ask him to change it to suit the bike unless he had to? (As Furusawa said about Lorenzo).

be interesting to see if the other teams have found more or less than the 5 extra horsepower yamaha will have this weekend at Jerez. Guess we'll be able to tell by seeing if the top speed order (factory bikes) is still roughly: 1) Ducati 2) Honda/Kawasaki(?) 3) Suzuki/Yamaha.

Yamah please go out there and show us you are worthy of us fans supporting you. We have seen way too many engines blowing up in the races and seen our Hero loose faith in that stupid Bike,

Quintuplets for Yamaha, Quadruplets for Ducati, Triplets for Honda, Twins for Suzuki, Mono for Kawasaki, Still Birth for Roberts.

I just think that Yamaha is going to be fast this year, Sepang test few days ago really impressed me. I just hope Honda is going to recover from their confusion of whether using pneumatic or 'conventional' engine... Rossi is going to be very fast, thats for sure ;)

And remember that Rossi is much lighter now after he have to get rid of some good (and heavy) amount of money back to the Italian tax... :-)

:D Can you imagine a rule that demands that ballast proportionate to the rider's bank savings would be added to the bikes? Now THAT would level the field... :D

Don't think rossi races with his wallet and 27 million in it, but i do think the loss off all that hair must have shed some weight, come on rossi bring that title back where it belongs in the real racers cabinet....

Some sort of ballast regarding rider weight could make it more
"fair", just look at Dani and Hayden, no way these 2 have the same
amount of Hp/Kg!
Salary "ballast" would for sure make it more interesting..... :-)

By the way, Casey is a real racer, and his title is placed on a
worthy cabinet. You should accept the fact that Casey is for real and
is unique for mastering that Ducati which seams to be like some sort
of a wild stallion which others doesn't master as well.

Mmmm, 5 more ponies really does put into perspective the tiny margins that the top boys are working with. My guess is that Yamaha will need to find at least another 5 ponies unless they want to see that Ducati pull 5-6 bike lengths on the straight at Qatar like last year.
