Rossi hasn't had a poor performance yet!
He is, after all, the leading Bridgestone rider.
And the only one to consistently be near the top of the timesheets wet or dry.

dunno kees, Rossi was smooth and on average the fastest. If he's smooth like that and he makes it look easy, he is a real threat. But then again your right. Let's call it even :)... Probably Dani will use his new magic Michelins and run away with it ( if it doesn't rain that is)

Hallo Harryx, if the weather stays like this it will be a VR CS battle, I think they have an equal change on this one.. (altough I hope keessie takes it)

Jan Witteveen is probably as famous as Jan Thiel, both earned their markes with the two strokes engines, sounds like a intresting project..(maybe I have to change from loncin to Maxtra on patriotic grounds..)

Hello Morgue,

I was a little surprised when his name popped up. The 125cc 2-strokes will probably still live for a while so I guess the Chinese are lucky to find one of the engineering-icons of 2-stroke racing. If they can hold together, a few seasons later Aprilia may wonder... :)

Glad that Ducati got their bike sorted so at least Stoner can ride it during Practise. Elias looked a lot better too on it. If Lorenzo rides tomorrow, then this guy is made out of forged steel. No matter how many points: he deserves respect. When I think about the knee hitting the track I get the shivers. Rossi looks "cool" too with perfect wheather. Nice start to the race... :)

Rossi :) :) :)

Hi Harryx,

Jan Witteveen knows his stuff, he's done marvels for Aprilia. These Maxtra people sure got some famous names from the racing world gathered there, let's see how (if) it turns out. Might take a while though, most new teams/makes take a couple of seasons to gather data and ripen.

Pity you "shortsighted" jacko.Try to understand that when I said" the man to beat" I meant not last year, the year before ...I was talking about his awesome motogp record. And he is still racing and not that far away from the top isn't he?

maxence - in one breath you say cut the fan-tic nonsense then in the next breath launch into a the very same fan-tic nonsense over Rossi. He is no longer the man to beat. He has not won the championship for the last two years and this year is trailing his rookie team mate by a good margin. 'He is the reference' - what a load of old tosh!

Stoner is excellent. Pedrosa is excellent. Lorenzo is a legend in process. Rossi is already a legend. And all the others guys would ambarass you on any road with any bikes I you had the opportunity to ride along. So cut the fan-atic nonsense.Respect these guys who dedicate their life to speed and motorbikes and make us have fun everyweek. Accept the facts all the wannabe "hooligans" or switch to football. Rossi carreer is far from over: he will shine again but he will never be alone at the top anymore. His supremacy is gone ,but he still is Motogp. He is the reference. The man to beat. We will see if Lorenzo can catch up wih him.The lack of respect for Rossi is cheer stupidity.

Morgue and Kees(sie):-), I just read on 3w.motorsport-total.com that Jan Witteveen will return with a chinese 125cc project (Maxtra) to be presented in Shanghai...

I just love Shirley Bassey's voice, so I have NO choice than to agree with Gregg. :)

I can't wait.

There are so many indicators that show that last years race will be no reference for this years.

Let's Race... :) :) :)
