I'm really sorry to see this for Lorenzo. I hope he gets better ASAP.

And I'm more sorry that I see people here that "were" waiting for something like this.

In my opinion races should be won on the track and not because someone's absence. And I don't whish accidents to any of the riders on the grill no matter how much I "dislike them".

Downer- I hope he can still race and be competitive, with Rossi, Stoner and Pedrosa (all previous winners of this GP) fastest so far in practise it'll be a real shame if Jorge is unable to join in the fun.

Tough going for Lorenzo
I just read he has chipped a bone off his left ankle but actually has more pain on his right. He may try to ride on saturday, depending on the amount of pain.
Wish the best for him.

The kid was having a go. Just as he always does. Thing is, MotoGP bikes, even 'only' 800cc ones, pack a punch that 250s don't. Really glad he was not hurt badly. Couold easily have been. Landed on his feet eh? Perhaps that's the story of his racing life... If he makes the race, he will be doing well to get in the top 5. Still, it's his rookie year and he's learning the four-stroke nuances. Yamaha will be glad Valentino is doing the business anyway. Could win this one...

Why is everyone acting like the "vetrans" never crash? Rossi broke his wrist in '06.

If you don't crash sometimes your not trying hard enough.

Fookin hell (excuse the expletives)...
Not one of his biggest fans however I hope he makes a speedy recovery...
You have to wonder whether the young bloods are jumping on these bikes and placing too much reliance on tc and computers to keep the bike reigned in...
Thats my Springer thought for the day
