Yes but it is a little bit nonsense to compare Rossi and Schumi for F1!...They are the greatest pilots in their own sports. And if we look at test data for F1, Schumi is still at top and strong enough to race again?

:)

On the other hand, Rossi was a big question for Ferrari. Because everybody counts 1 second in F1 for per lap as in MotoGP!...

:)

RR75,

Let me congratulate you for your new house in Italy!...Maybe we could be neighbour with you!!!

The comparison of lap times is misleading. There was a change in engine regulations and, if I remember correctly, Rossi was running the much faster V10, and Schumacher the V8.

Cap is correct with the "misleading" lap time statement. The times Rossi set COULD have been used to compare them to other drivers times IN THE SAME CAR. But, that is not what happened in the public eye. In the end it was nothing more than another PR stunt.

Cap - partly correct , however the V10 was restricted as were the regulations that season to allow smaller teams who did not have a V8 engine ready to compete.
So , although Rossi was in a V10 it's performance was capped to that of the V8 so the comparison was fairly good.

To see him in MotoGP is amazing and I hope to see in many further races, if wee saw him in F1 probably the same story could be done so turn and turn?

Nowadays under these regulations MotoGP is more spectacular than F1 and the right choice for him to stay in MotoGP as a Grandmaster
