What about Walker - he rides for Kawasaki and got the yellow PSG ZXR sorted - they've done nothing since dropping him. It would make a change for him to ride something that's fast

it's true, De puniet is fast but too often out to gravel, he's like 'I can win but never ending a race' so he's useless. Probably if de Angelis won't change he's opportunity to going out during race he'll be the same as Puniet. For list posted by The Judge I would like to add Nakano also. Anthony and Melandri need change their teams (if bike can't be fixed) rather than throw them out. Hayden? Still see him in red Duc.

Now thats hot news......!!!
I think if there is rider that have unfinish bussiness with Valentiono Rossi, it should be Sete Gibernau......
I hope Ducati would give him a chance to try the bike......

When Gibernau and Malandri were team mates, Malandri had the beating of him. When Capirossi and Gibernau were team mates on the Duke, then Cap had the beating of him. It's arguable that Gibernau taking Cap out in 2006 cost him the championship, who knows, so I can't really see him replacing Malandri. I think Westy is the one living on borrowed time but if it was my decision I would get rid of De Puniet who IMO is a complete waste of a good bike. For sure the boys fast but as no feel for when the tyres are going from him, that's why most of his crashes occur in the latter half of the race.

When Casey was regularly throwing the H0onda up the road I thought that it would be the end of him much the same as Ruben (Xaus) when Ducati literally ran out of bikes to give him. However Ducati saw something that I didn't and turned him into a WC.
It's amusing to think that following this line of thinking then Randy D.P is our next World Champion.
Back to topic...Westy will probably have a long journey for nothing. I can't see the Kwacker improving enough to do any good. They have the slowest works engine, they have reliability problems, and it is a pig to ride. Hopper is hurting himself riding the wheels off it and Westy is losing credibility although it is clear that he is trying too.

Codger, the reason Casey went from top 4 / 5 early in 2006 to pretty often falling was Honda forced a frame onto the satellite bikes that neither Hayden or Pedrosa would use. There was no feel for the front of the bike which will lead to falls when you push like all these guys. Honda gave it to the satellite teams for "improvement and developments" reasons. Having no front feel lead to loads of front end crashes: think Laguna Seca 06 while running third as an example.

Westy does seem to have the same sort of trouble wherever he goes though. A prodigeous talent, but with no public relations skills and no demonstrated ability to develop a bike through a season. This should be good for him.

I think West going to Japan to work directly with the engineers says allot about him and his ability, Although his results don't reflect it. Surely we will see what he is made of some are able to translate the information to their tech's directly and some can translate it through the chain of command. I cannot believe that riding these types of bike from 250 on up or sbk 600 which are trick as your money can buy would leave any racer dumb founded as too how it should be set up....For the individual racer. It is strange because last year he did well after kai did finally get the bike up to scratch and since they have changed to the 800 it has gone down hill.maybe they thought that the 990 :?

could be shrunk down to size without losing any of what was working WRONG WRONG WRONG they should have done like all the other teams and started from scratch because the characteristics are different etc OJ was getting a paycheck that is all it was to him? Because by now their should have been some improvements.. Now the RACER is going to do what he can do for his bike and take that back to Hopper and go from there we will seee

Sete Gibernau not that bad.....remember when the change from 900cc to 800cc era, he often set the fastest time testing the Ducati 800 cc....even from his team mate......
Maybe he also make big contribution for the development of the ducati 800 we know now....
Just give him a chance to make Motogp a lot more fun to watch
and please make Rossi life harder..... :)
