It doesn't sound like Capirossi is 100% fit yet but good enough to give it a try. I'm sure he's worried about Suzuki seeing another rider on his bike but Capirossi has done well given the bike and package he has. When he gets to be 100% fit and able to provide more input on improvements needed I'm sure he'll continue to have better outcomes in races. He's already proved to be better than his team-mate who has more experience on the same bike. It would be a mistake if Suzuki doesn't sign him up for the next year or two. Based on this years performance I think that Vermullen has more to worry about if he doesn't contiue to improve his results.

Loris Capirossi keeps his time on the sidelines to a minimum by confirming he will compete in the Dutch Grand Prix.

Glad to see Capirossi back on track. Even if it was interesting to see Ben Spies in action this week end, Loris needs to perform well on the Suzuki should he want to stay there next year. If I am right, he has a result obligation in his contract.

So he is saying "i was too badly injured to take part a Donington" but suddenly after just another 3 days (Practice starts on Thursday) he is fit to ride again at Assen!
If you ask me he is c******g himself in case Suzuki decide they want another rider to replace him next season!
All a bit iffy to me or maybe he just doesn''t like racing at Donington.

For sure Suzuki must make changes not only to their bike but also to their riders, the only question is who goes and when. Spies is the future for them if he does not go to another team

Should get rid of paycheck riders Vermin and Craparossi who are just riding round around to put money in their pension funds and replace with 2 riders who want to try and win. Hayden and Spies would be my choice for next year, both young talented and hungry. Maybe even bring back the Hopper.

..sorry ZX9R Steve, but that's a little perverse.
You're firstly criticizing Capirossi and Vermeulen for being (as you put it)
"pay cheque" riders and then say that Rizzla Suz should replace them with
young talented riders and hold up Hopper as a candidate.
Don't get me wrong I like John, but I think that the pay cheque was
one of the reasons Hopper moved to the green machines
in the first place?
