Just no. Totally Gutted.

Eurosports commentating team is one of the best on TV, and their full days coverage of all three races, and some, destroys what the BBC do.

******* Dorna. MotoGP is slowly but surely going the way of F1. There must an equivalent of Bernie Ecclestone in there somewhere... I give it 5 - 7 years maximum before it been totally ruined by the money hungry people in charge.

w.t.f. how can dorna do this to us we have now lost the coverage of the premier class in bike raceing. no more toby, julian, and randy we will end up with some 2nd rate coverage from the bbc you only have to look at the bbc 2 coverage from this season. no practice, no qualifying, and the worst of it all no 125 or 250 how are we going to follow bradley smith , scott reading , and danny webb?? we have a potential world champion in bradders.. so i''d just like to say THANKS DORNA FOR SPOILING THE COVERAGE OF THE ONLY SPORT I ENJOY WATCHING..... :-o

Moto GP R.I.P

Millions of fans to be denied an informormed enthusiasts view of GP motorcycle racing from the best commentary team in the world.

The DORNA excecutives who devised this strategy must be feeling really chuffed with themselves.

The BBC will make sure that the Moto GP viewing figures follow world share prices in freefall with its lack lustre presentation and reduced coverage.

Thanks Eurosport for many happy years. I will miss you.

I remember Carl Fogarty Making the comment, ''only real bike fans watch Eurosport''. To lose Toby,Jules and Randy would be a huge loss and a very sad end to an unmatched era.

this is indeed sad sad news... the BBC just doesn't show the same level of commitment that Eurosport does towards MotoGP coverage.

Unbelievable. I have only just discovered this on the eve of the 2009 season.
I have been forced to return to Australia due to a paragliding injury, and the local broadcaster here, Channel 10, has to be the worst broadcaster I have had to endure. They do not show all of the races, do not provide a replay broadcast when they choose not to broadcast live, and their advert breaks are lengthy and frequent. Not even having Daryl Beattie as an expert commentator saves them from censure.
In 25 years of viewing Eurosport provided the best coverage bar none.
I urge all to write to Gavin Emmet at media@dorna.com and express your rage.
Idiots!

It just isn't the same is it!
I've certainly not enjoyed the season as much as I should have so far and that's due in no small part due to the commentary.
Ok it's not as bad as we all feared, we still get the 125 and 250's and we still get coverage of qually but even Eurosport arn't packaging it as they were. Sunday on Eurosport used to be totally dominated by Moto GP, now it plays second fiddle to beach vollyball or something. Very sad.
