maybe they thot it's better to quickly help a rider who's able to mount and compete, then turn around and help the hurt but not critically injured one. coz it just makes sense to help the one who's going to continue to compete.

Rossi has to learn that the bike has a limit. That he should not push it all at once. We have seen it too many times that it takes a little patience to get into the Race and than start climbing slowly. Anyway great determination by him to continue and still be in the Race.Casey Stoner is great too. Was Happy when Nickey Fayden had no more Gas but than Feel Sorry For him. Looks more like the kUnlucky kid. :-o

When you have become a 5 time world champion, even track marshals will bias towards you. They went to help Rossi first even Randy De Puniet is injured. At least that is what it seemed on TV.

Track Marshals are volunteers that have no medical training. They are NOT ALLOWED to attend to injured riders. Only medical staff can attend to injured riders.

That is why you sometimes see Track Marshals apparently ignoring an injured rider and going straight for the bike.

I think the Marshalls went to Rossi cause he was trying to pick his bike up whilst the other guy was walking away from his.

So, even Rossi has limits, still an amazing ride with no gearshift and a bent handlebar.
