299 kelvin-metres per hour? Kilo is SI prefix, and SI is case-sensitive. Uppercase K stands for Kelvin degree.

I'm suspected the laptime will go down as low as 1.41s when MotoGP circus arrive at Indianapolis. The top speed may goes as high as 305kph. It Seem quite similar to Jerez distant and laptime.

Surprised that a test rider is facter than Ben Spies....Canepa being on the faster bike but Spies know the circuit...

Why? No offense to American readers, but AMA SBK riders are in general not ready to perform at top levels in MotoGP. I seriously doubt they could perform at top levels in WSBK. The breeding grounds for WSBK are in BSB, not AMA. And even WSBK riders have problems enough to move from superbike to MotoGP and perform in the top 10. In my opinion, people underestimate the performance level of MotoGP (or over-estimate the level of AMA SBK/WSBK). They are just not in the same league.
