********

just as was predicted, no live FPs, Warmups, 125 and 250 classes,
and just think what will happen to live MotoGP if it clashes with the almighty F1
snooze-a-thons

Not to mention the dull BBC commentary team

thanks Dorna, you have just put the first nail in the coffin of the motorcycle World Championships

Dorna boss in an interview stated that he wanted moto gp to be able to be seen by everyone for "free".... now, unless ive been living a dream all these years,we HAVE to pay a tv licence fee, just for the privelige of watching.... The BBC! so that falls flat on its face!! The practise, qualifying and the 125's and 250 gp races are an integral part of the moto gp meetings, so the BBC's non showing of these items and races over the years flies in the face of its "dedication and service" that Dorna seems so pleased to announce! methinks, like bernie over at boring, snoozy, lets just have a 70 lap procession F1, money is all its about! having randy, julian and toby at the BBC will soften the blow.

I read in last weeks comic (MCN) that the BBC may be in a deal with Eurosport for coverage.

Two problems with this.

First it was in MCN and that paper is always full of ****.

Second Why would the BBC get the rights and then farm it out to Eurosport?

Dear sirs, would you please Replace your commentary team for the 2009 Moto Gp season ,with the already and well respected team of Randy Mamola, brilliant with the Garage interviews and every body knows him being a ex champion,Julian the dictionary of MOTO GPs,and the very good Toby as the link to all three.

They have worked together for the last TEN Years, I am afraid if we have to listen to the current boring monotoned voices of your current people who basically dont know that many stars on the grid, like the other three do. viewers will slowly drop off.
Yours sincerely Ron Brislin

You must retain the present commentary team for Mot GP from Eurosport, as other than ''Stavros'', the rest of your team are a washout! Suzi Perry and that "over the Stripe" of an Aussie, I think not! C''mon BBC your street cred. is at stake , we need Randy M. and the "Boys"!!!!

I don't begrudge Cox his mild case of Stoner/Westyphilia. Bias is rather like an accent - you only notice it when it's different from your own. I have dual nationality, but I support Rossi because he's a fantastic rider with what appears to be a fairly relaxed attitude, (or as much as we can tell without knowing him personally), not because he's Italian. I do think it's an insult to have a former car racer commentating though, and thought that having Roger Burnett instead, produced much better technical comments and debate with Parrish. Dr Johnson said you don't need to be a carpenter to criticise a wobbly table, but I prefer to hear from one when the subject is how to improve it!

Cox and Parrish wrote of Rossi after 2006 and whenever Rossi got caught up in midfield, they would decry him only for Rossi to do his thing, and win the race. We need unbiased reportage, not the sort of ill educated crap spouted by that Stonerfile Cox. Retire you silly fat old sod, and take your less than amusing one liners with you.Mamola is brilliant, so why not people that know about moto gp, a bit like James Hunt knew about Grand Prix.

I hope all of you who are unhappy with the BBC's coverage of MotoGP, (and the other classes), will do the same as me and complain to the BBC itself, as well as having your say here. The BBC is sensitive to public opinion in many areas: along with others who made the same complaint, I actually succeeded in getting them to make changes on an unrelated issue. I'm sure they will be showing all F1 qualifying no matter where in the world it takes place, so let's start with getting that dealt with for the fly away rounds next year, as well as better commentary. Ring their duty officer every time they muck up advertised schedules and downgrade coverage too - it all gets noted at production meetings.
