This is great news for team and rider, Edwards brings so much to the table, his relationship with Factory and with Michelin.
Michelin show Edwards ALL the love now, not like they did when he was testing tires for rossi where rossi would get the cream, but not no more: and beside what a better way to get-m back. So happy for him and besides all that, he can't leave yet… still gota get that WiN GO Colin

Yay! I'd say I want him on the top step at Laguna...but I don't. I want him to win somewhere where people won't moan about the home advantage that Hayden suffers from. Just get a win somewhere good Colin :D

Gd news for the re-sign. Deserved.

Any team should be glad to have Colin- surely he's up there with Rossi and probably outranks Capirossi as the best development rider out there.

No one has done more donkey work for Michelin over the last 8 years than Colin in WSBK and MotoGP. He loves Michelin and they love him. I'm assuming since Val isn't around they can make a tire more to his style. I read that he said since Val left they make tires that suit more riders. Pedrosa has always seem to get along with them. This weekend I want Edwards to win soooo bad it hurts! OUCH!

Justice would be served if Col won Laguna. Somehow I don't think the universe is that just. I can hope...

Im a fan of the sport first and foremost.

Id be happy to see the following all Aussie Podium for Laguna Seca to make Edwards USA GP.

1: Edwards
2: Stoner
3: Vermulen

17: Pedrobot
18: Clownboy

After all Edwards is Half Aussie :p

Lets get real though it will probably end up like this.

1: Stoner
2: Rossi
3: Hayden
4: Edwards
5: Vermulen
6: Pedrosa

Pedrobot will struggle with his injuries i think.

So Yamaha stepped in to help close the deal? It looks like it's Yamaha's tactic to have a strong satellite to steal points from Casey and Pedro. Honda and Ducati could learn from that.
