Really tough break for Pedrosa. His could not have came at a worst time or a more difficult track. But he has a big heart in that little frame. If he pulls out, well, who can blame him. But if he rides expect a gutsy performance.

a poem for Dani:

If you are the champ I know you to be you will ride.
If you are the chump I hope you are not you will hide.
If you are hurt, than go slow, but get points,
so the World Champion this year they''ll annoint.

luv Mum. :)

Poor ol'' Pedrosa. His wrist has got to be hurtin'' mightily. It''s only gonna get worst during practice and qualifying so come race day he''s toast. Maybe he needs to sit this one out and fight another day.

This reminds me of Doohan: When he raced without painkillers after really heavy injuries he was asked how he could do it with all that pain and why he didn't take any painkillers. His reply was the simple but astounding: "I'm not the painkiller type of person".

That guy was from a different breed altogether.

I saw him on live motogp walking from his bike to his pit without crutches... OK he is very brave to ride through the pain with his broken left hand, but why exaggerating his ankle injury like this? It makes me wonder whether the remainder of the press release is accurate...

I've seen riders ride without complaining nor making all this fuss with more serious injuries, beginning with Lorenzo and Hopkins earlier this year, and Capirossi and Randy de Puniet on several occasions in the past.

It's gonna be great motorcycle racing week-end anyway, with MotoGP and all AMA domestic series, and World superbikes at Brno, and many other domestic series as well...

Pedrosa is not in FP3 today at Laguna. Bad sign.

To 'Who Cares': Crutches are kinda hard to use when you have a broken wrist. The ankle is a sprain, may be painful, but it's not as though he will injury it more by walking on it.
