Bad news for sportsfans. We needed Dani in this race to make it more exciting than the 2 horse race of Stoner & Rossi.

Now we only have Rossi with a bike and skill capable of staying within a few seconds of Stoner. Stoner will win, inevitable with a 0.7 second advantage per lap.

Sigh, another boring race I guess. We need competition.

Thank you DORNA for ruining the sport by ending the 990cc era.

Moto GP is now like F1. 2 teams, with 1 slightly better than the other = we all know (mostly) the result of the race.

Unlike before 2007, when Moto GP was incredible to watch with Melandri even crossing the finishing line one handed wheel spinning!

Maybe Nicky Hayden can do it?

It was so obviously clear he wasn''t able to race yesterday, so sense has prevailed, but why did it take them so long to come out with the decision?

Shame for Dani and the championship though.

Feel sorry for Dani I hope he get well soon...

Grumpy you need to thank the Japanese (read Honda) factories for these so called boring races...they have caused it not Dorna..They where responsible for getting the 800cc... they must have some regrets by now..

Well before Kees & Grumpy fall out .......

IMHO it was Honda that were the main mover in going to 800s. They sold it to Dorna who, instead of telling Honda FOAD pushed the idea to the other factories - tho that's more simplified than slightly.

The result of which is given a choice between a free ticket for a Moto GP race and WSBK at the same circuit I've a stong suspicion a lot of people would take the WSBK option.

Shame Dan the Dwarf's out of LaGuna Seca - great respect's due for him even attempting it.
