It was a real Race. Just ignore the Spoilt Brat. He is not happy when he comes in 2nd. He is not Happy when he comes in 3rd. He is not Happy when he comes in 4th. Practically the team had to push him to continue when he was coming in 16th. He wants to be first all of the time. Otherwise he wants his Soccer ball back and go home so that no one else can play if they dont let him score.

Don''t you suspect that deep inside he must have sympathy for his countryman?

It would be interesting if Ducati brought in Burgess.
I still think Rossi would win - 125, 250cc without Burgess.
With over 25 years experience, it wouldnt do any harm.

Ofcourse Burgess has sympathy for Stoner, and respect. But he's a very competitive person himself and works for Rossi so the first thing they want to do is beat Stoner. And Jeremy can be a good person to compare this race with those in previous eras as he has been in the thick of it for decades.

It seems to me that some of these younger riders would rather do time trials than actually race, way out in front on their own happy have to work for a win its all too hard. Thanks to the likes of rossi, hayden even de angelis and lorenzo don''t seem to mind being a bit physical do we really want to watch races where it''s so sorry after you mate.I watch all motor bike racing and all the others there doesn''t seem to be any whinging when they come into the pits wearing somone elses paint, and not at one point that i could see did rossi touch stoner.

Wonder if Rossi will write another book (the last one on how he switched to Yamaha & won) on how he succeeded in winning the WC with a "suicidal" swtich on Brigdestone ... :p

Morgue..JB and his team keeps on doing this in coming up with a race setup from nowhere. VR said they had gained a few tenths between warm up and race but the gain was closer to 1 second per lap. It is no wonder VR took JB and his race team from Honda to Yamaha as they are simply brilliant.

The problem is that all the other riders can't ride like that because they know that they will be penalised - only Rossi can get away with it.

If there was an announcement from FIM that everyone can ride as aggressively as they like it would be okay.

Either the rules are for everyone or for no one.

Casey said he had no problem with the majority of the passing. And of course he doesnt like coming second, none of them do. As a WC, at the pinnacle of motorsport, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Personally, watching the race I thought Rossi was gonna take them both out on a few occassions. None of you can deny that he was on the absolute ragged edge (and occasionally over it) trying to keep a quicker Casey behind. That mistake through the corkscrew, where he skewed back across Casey's line was definitely over the limit.

Either way, Rossi was damn lucky they were at the hardest track to overtake in MotoGP. And he and Casey both know it.
