People keep harping on Nicky's 3 wins and saying its not enough. What about the rest of the grid who have been there equally as long if not longer with 0 wins? Should they not be in MotoGp either? Sounds like you guys want a field of only 3 or 4 riders, the field is pretty thin as is... I have been trying to figure out where the hate comes from and I cant figure it out, can somebody help me understand that part?

Basically to me it looks like Honda want some info on Bridgestones,as people have already stated. Its also quite obvious that Dani cant develop ****.I really dont understand the Hayden bashers that say he cant develop a bike....Isnt Dani the No1??Why should Hayden be tasked with the development of a bike that was quite clearly designed for a midget??Looking forward to Dovi going to Repsol...wouldnt it be great if he beat Pedrosa regularly.....I wonder what the outcome of that would be.It would also be nice to see Hayden get the Duc ride...I bet he wishes he had took the ride two seasons ago when he was initially offered it!!!!

Skinya will get all the new parts to race test before they get handed to Dani and/or Nicky, the parts would have been tested by the developement riders on the test track they now just need to be race tested, very smart move when you think about it,Dovi is still a chance in of a place in the WC,especially if Dani keeps getting injuried.

It seems pretty clear really, Honda want an experienced, consistent rider in a satellite team who has a good rapport with their technicians. Dovi's doing better for points but it's his first year in Moto GP. Nakano is one of the most experienced riders in Moto GP. To make a rough comparison who would you choose as a development rider, Edwards or Lorenzo (even if Lorenzo didn't keep binning it)?
Dunno if Bridgestone/Michelin has anything to do with it, who knows exactly what HRC are up to?

I'm far more interested in motorcycle racing. But I'm not going to sit back and let people make misogynistic and homophobic comments without saying something. There have been some pretty shameful things said about Hamilton on the F1 side of this site and people have stood up to it. Not over here.

@ Jimmy Mansi

Apologies for this Offline Topic, wish Crash has a feature to create member threads :?

I wanted to ask you Mansi, Morgue, Grumpy and other guys, do you follow MotoGP "After the Flag" commentators? I like Nick Harris, straight and cool guy! Along with Harris, Matt Roberts and Gavin Emmett are the guys who does that job.

I have felt there is some (secret) bias against a particular rider by those two commentators, was watching this trend since the last couple of GPs. What are your thoughts on this one :)

@ ramjam69

Yeah I made a mistake on the track, so what? We all know which race it is. He did crossed the line first in that race, so did CE this year, so don't complain.

Like I said to Pam, Honda knows much more than you, me, or anyone here. They know what Fayden(I spelled that on purpose if you can't tell) ability is. He may be a consistent rider, but only podiums is not what Honda wanted. They want someone that can win races, not just finish 2nd or 3rd. So far Dani is proving that he can win more races than Fayden. And everybody knows Fayden can't develop ****, or else Dani wouldn't have said that in the press.

You think you know more than HRC? I doubt it.

FYI, I've been riding motorcycles for more than 10 years, owned many different brands of bikes throughout the period, from 600s to 1000s, this is why I think Fayden sucks, he cannot ride around problems and this is well known in the paddocks among the pros. And Honda is not stupid and knows much more than you or anyone here, you wonder why they picked Dani, cause they all know Fayden can't really win unless the other riders are down.

P.S. I think you're the one that has never ridden a motorcycle before, most likely just took a few rides on the back seat. :rolleyes

Simply a tactical move from HRC. Clever move to test their top level bike on bridgestones without disrupting the rookies in their debut season. I can also understand bridgestones reluctance to throw a lot of wonga at r&d in a sport where tyre domination to's and fro's so quickly and is also subject to team politics etc.
I've said it before and I'll say it again that it's contradictory to a 'prototype' sport at the top level of bike racing but a one tyre rule is the easiest and quickest way to save the sport. Maybe they should all be on Shinko's. At least the competition might attract a few less 'obsessive' fans comments to this and other sites like it.

Hey people, this is a Nakano thread whats with the Hayden Haters. All you Hayden haters only follow gps when Rossi got in to 500/MOTOGP. Anyway, Nakano is a great development rider. When he was with Kawasaki, he was the lead rider he brought that thing from crap to the podium and no one did better than he did as his team mate.

Speaking of Bridgestone/Honda, HRC should put Tamada and Nakano together on a Bridgestone/Honda, they would do better than Repsol, at least Tamada would. Remember how fast Tamada was with that package?
