Just shows how much pressure these MotoGP riders are under to perform. Most "normal" people would spend a lot longer recovering. There is absolutely no shame in DP's performance!!! Roadrage... idiotic comment. Have you any idea how much pressure goes through your wrists when braking and throwing around a MotoGP bike? No I haven't either, but apparently it is immense... silly comment mate...

Suck it up, wuss. Polen, Schwantz, Haga, Doohan, Bayliss and numerous others have ridden with worse injuries and never complained.

Although i'm a big fan of Danny, I think the championship fight is over for him.

This is really bad when a rider fell off from the champ fight because of an injury. Lorenzo is in the same boat.

He won the 250 championship with two broken ankles. Jesus Christ, give the kid a break.

In fairness all the riders out there are tough and will ride if they can. Think of the state he tried to ride at laguna in... its a shame that this injury will most likely cost him the championship but how many people would have sat back and said he didnt try hard enough?! probably similar to the people who will say he should have been more careful at Sachsenring!...

At the end of the day hes not being a wuss, hes out and trying but obviously hes not in the best state but fair play to Dani for still trying to get on with the job! good lad! Hes gone up in my estimations this season, he has shown signs that he really wants it this year, especially when he goes head to head with Lorenzo!

I'm not a Dani fan, but I here him on this one. Hand injuries suck especially in the wrist. We rely so much on the movement of joints and muscles in our hands and fingers and putting a lot of weight on top of that doesn't make things easier... much pain for sure. Hopefully he gets better soon we need more title fighters to keep the races interesting.

Incorrect... he won the 125 championship, then broke his ankles at the last race of the year(Phillip Island), then had the whole off-season to recover before starting in the 250's

I stand by my original comment. In fact, any of the guys I've mentioned probably wouldn't even have missed one race. Look at Haga riding not one, but two WSB races with a broken collarbone. Polen and Bayliss both lost body parts and never whined. Schwantz rode numerous times with broken wrists and ankles.
