I hope the guys out there testing and putting the miles in for Michelin get a thanks from Dani for their work when he gets a decent set of tyres!... :)

I can''t wait to see Lorenzo back on form... Hes shown hes exceptionally fast, hes shown he can be a bit wild (more than once this year!) and hes also shown after Brno that he doesn''t mind a bit of hard work to get somewhere!

Also credit to the other guys who have been banging out laps to try and get Michelin some info to start making progress...

Dani wanted to try the pneumatic one,he was wainting for this test for a long time--because the valve-engine show no advantage to the two leaders, but Michelin screwed this test with their tyres,,
that's not bad for rossi ,he will see in front on him only that red duck and will try to pass him but not to luck back to se dani trying to get him off,, lorenzo is the future--i'm sure :p

Those who put the hard work in will indeed reap the rewards no doubt about it, Motogp top class is in a diff leaguet to the 250 class & the guys consistently at the top are the ones that are learning from testing, not only that they are good development riders too.

You know that there is a small minority that are always at the top I truly beleive that Lorenzo def has the potential to do well in Motogp if he can get over the crashes & indeed stop crashing.

The problem the riders have today & have had for the last 5 years there is a certain Mr Rossi to compete with which is a major obstacle to get over, I wonder if this has a bearing on their minds.

Hi Luk - Do you not think Dani could have hung around to do some tyre runs to give Michelin some info to get them back on track? Also if he wanted to do engine test what was stopping him from back to back testing valve and pneumatic engines? As long as he was on the same tyres, the bearing is not how good the tyres are it is how the engines perform in comparison with each other so if he is on the same tyres then the comparison is on equal grounds whether they are great tyres or bad tyres.

I'm not his doctor, i don't know how bad his hand hurts as that could be the reason. It just seems as if he is very slack at putting the work in to development but also very quick to criticise!

Sounds like "keeping the sponsors happy" talk to me. Finding "a few tenths" will not cut it for the rest of the season when he was 12 seconds off the pace during qualifying. I applaud his determination but I think Michelin have just totally lost the plot and no amount of hard work by Lorenzo is going to make the major difference.

Ian

Lorenzo was doing set up in the early part of the Qualifying Hour . The other riders got some qualifying when it was not pouring in the beginning. By the time he managed to go for qualifying it was already pouring and there were spots with water.. A little bit unpredictable weather. It was for this reason that the 2 riders were allowed to race. 12 seconds off the pace. Come on Lorenzos' got better pace than that. He had 3 pole positions at the beginning of the year and a win. Give the guy a break. What if all the Michelin riders get those special flown in before the race they can still race starting from the back of the grid and claw back some points from the not so good BS riders

I would ROFLMAO when Repsol switch to Bridgestone and Michelin turns out to be the dominating tire next year, Lorezo champion.
