Yep i agree Mike had that injury last year and i was able to continue with my racing and work on a building site 6 days week .Ok not ideal but sure not a problem good straping and a numbing jab should sort it .Must say sound like a doctor sorry.

If that was bull mess steve your on the money,british superbike rider muggeridge took the nail off his finger lost the top bit broke it in 4 places plus the one next to it got on the bike next race got 10th with blood running out of his glove!Quick painkilling injection and stop wingeing have it pinned before the next race.It is true what jack said it's a pig to mend if at all so just get it pinned?? :rolleyes:

Jack Mordino, I broke mine in a bike crash too but I was told the blood flow (from the single line blood supply) will keep flowing if the break mends quickly and cleanly. If it doesn't then forecast a future of arthritis there...:-(
Happily mine fixed itself up pretty easily.

Not his year, but he's had no where near the bad luck that rossi had in 2006...

and tbh, this cracked bone doesnt seem to be slowing him down much, he's never done long stints of laps in practice anyway..

im sure he'll be fine..

What a crock of crap. The injury only happened when he found out how close Valentino was in practice. OK it's an old injury so they say, it could have happened any time, perhaps it may have happened when he was doing up is fly. Sorry, I find it hard to believe it after he has just clocked up a fantastic lap blowing the rest of the field into the weeds.
