Stoner is a busted flush now. Rossi has messed with his head so much that he thinks the only way he can win is dash to the front and create as big a gap as he can coz he knows head to head in a battle, Rossi will have the beatings of him.
Twice now he has tried this and fallen off in the process.
Game over.

Jack . It took Doohan 4 years to win the championship. Almost always it was the 2nd year that Rossi won the Championship.. Rossi was 9th first year

... a bit opposite to Rossi, by all means - esp. arriving somewhere , coz Rossi's always relaxed enough to be late... :)

...meaning ppl around Doohan that worked with him would've been always serious. Apparently he always had to be first at everything else: like first to enter the plane, or restaurant, first to sit somewhere, go to toilet, finish meal, put leathers on, arrive at places, eat icecream etc etc.. :)

Doohan's career is a testament in human resilience and powerful resolve. Burgess said that there was a lot of tension in his garage during race weekends and he seemed to be aggressive, almost hostile to others but that's what he needed in order to win.

I've got a bike-mate who reminds me very much of him: Total lack of fear, a very dominating way of riding his bike and going as fast on the road as some local club racers... only he's never done a trackday in his life. Sometimes I wonder what this guy would have done if he had a chance on a racing career.

Doohan never won the WC as long as Wayne Rainey was there. Thats 3 years. Doohan didnt win the WC after Wayne Rainey left. It was Kevin Schwantz who won. After KS retired than it was Doohan as there was no one really there to dice it out. Would have loved to see Valentino Rossi and Mick Doohan to see who really would have cut the Mustard

Oscar - Doohan took 4 years in the premier class before he won a WC, look where he went when he git it together.

Frank - Doohan started in 89, and won in 94, or his sixth year of racing. he should have won the title in his fourth year, but Assen saw that idea finished

I don't know either Jack..i just Think , and if it turns out to manifest as i used to think it would be - Im happy that could've exercised my skills in predicting stuff based on the riders personalities... I enjoy that a lot.
As far as DePuniet goes...the female brain is not as simple as the male one, which is a compliment to the males! :p ..but Randy doesnt do anything for me..same as Waxy( my nick-name-joke for James Toseland )& as much as i mentioned the physicality of their bodies, Randy is the neutral guy to me. have to be honest as well - dont think Ive remembered if I've seen his body at all - and that's not a good start...
But Lorenzo... so proportional...perfect! :p :p

I don't know Gina... It's a bit hard to judge such things by a handful of quotes and their expressions on the camera. For sure he puts a lot of pressure on himself, that's pretty obvious to see. Maybe in the future he'll grow up and collect his acts togehter in a better way.

About Lorenzo and his body...that's a matter of taste but I suggest you take a look at Randy, he might suit you as well :p

..as for Doohan - Stoner comparison..I think their personalities would be very different. Stoner being much more insecure: lack of confidence, maybe treated badly as a kid by some other and dominant kid in family or "friend" in childhood?... talented - but agree - doesnt really understand any of it - but sees it as a way of becoming "strong"? to fulfill some kind of need? ..so its somehow personal in his career which is a weakness.
..have to apologize in advance in expressing my opinion - so god help me with the feedbacks!! :) :) :)
