Tyke, I am a Stoner fan, but that doesn't stop me wanting to see Hayden kick some next year.

I want to see Nicky challenge for the championship on the Ducati with RACE WINS- to erase the taint that his '06 championship was the result of pointscoring, not performance.

I want to see Nicky beat Pedrosa & rub his little nose in it.

But most of all I want to see Nicky humiliate the Repsol/Honda/Michelin team.

Those w*^kers have destroyed GP racing from "special" tyres for Doohan to maintain his dominance, to pushing out Nastro Azzuro & Movistar as big time sponsors, to Honda manipulating the tech regs (990's & 800, killing off 250's) to their advantage.

Go Nicky, rub their noses in it!

All,
Nicky Hayden was never one of my favourite riders, but, however, the crap he has gone through with Honda, to say the things he has, I personally think, is testament to the obvious gentleman that he is.
He should be very proud of what he has achieved in the last few years with them, but should now look forward to a new era. DUCATI...
Rock on 2009......

As long as the Ducati is still a animal to ride next year i think he'll go well... it'll suit him far better than that minimoto built of Pedrosa's cast offs he's been on this year.... I have a feeling we haven't seen the best of him yet....Good luck Nicky

raw dawg

I think you are the biggest Idiot. Why would he want the same forks as Pedrosa. To eat his Steak with or what. In Misano your Hero was going home........ He didn't want to ride. His Boot was too small. He quit. And to all those who think Nicky will win Indianopolis. wake up........ He was fully fit in Laguna Seca... Even if you take away the Tire excuse no one was close to where Rossi and Stoner to pick up podium after CS dropped his bike. And you are comparing NH with VR. Rossi just hit 68. Nicky is at a ratio of 1 win every 32 races. with 3 wins in total every 3rd race he will slide again. You think the Ducati will be his magic wand. Don't think so. Think Marco Melandri wannabe

Story says on Page 1: "Many consider that Hayden hasn't received the backing he deserves from Honda since the arrival of former 125 and double 250cc world champion Dani Pedrosa in 2006..."

AGREED! As a result, I'll buy Yamaha, Suzuki, or Ducati over Honda.

Dirt track racin, he grew up slidin raw in the corners , no eletronics, i'll tell you something, the Ducati is William Morris, it's the art and craft of motorcycles, Ducati is male and female all mixed into one, it's a Ducati, come on, Ducati is what Earls race team is and what it was all about, Ducati is Nicky's bike, and when he twists the throttle ,..... all of you out there will see that it is a bike that brings Earl back to seat once again!!

Like Marco Melandri won **** in that Ducati............. NH won't win another Race. Its been too long since he won anyway............... What was that Laguna Seca in 2006. Thats 2 generations ago. Keep the hopes up people. ........We will hear another excuse again this weekend.
Looks like Ducati 's got a couple of lemons this year and they securing more Lemons for next year.......... Maybe they should paint the Ducatis Yellow next year to match their Lemons.

And knobs like ACE are still bashing him...I don't think anyone is comparing Hayden to Rossi, but he's still a legitimate World Champion who deserves a ride on a team that will treat him like the Champion he is.
dfh said a mouthful. I totally agree and sincerely hope Honda never wins another MotoGP title. They've sold their souls to Repsol(and Dorna) in order to try and win a championship with a Spanish rider and in turn, treated the guy who reclaimed ther title for them like ****.
I pity whoever gets the other factory Honda unless he's an arrogant, numbskull dwarf from Spain.
And no, I'm not perejudiced against Spanish riders, just one pampered baby.
