THEY WERE TEAMMATES, teammates are supposed to share data. PUIG is an idiot and just making excuses for Dani''s poor performance as of late getting out paced by a larger rider on a bike built for the MIDGET. PUIG is one of the main problems with REPSOL.

All very interesting comments. However there is one quote that I have yet to read. This is one about Shinya Nakano that I saw on the official MOTO GP website. By the way, this interview is no longer on the MOTO GP website. It was taken off shortly after it was posted...
I dont remember the exact words but Nakano said that if Repsol Honda recieves Nakanos Bridgestone-Honda data from 2008 then he would much appreciate some more HRC support in the future, new parts etc.
Nakano recieved his HRC support...
Had Pedrosa had recieved data from Nakanos team?
If not then why did Nakano recieve HRC support for the rest of the season?
To me it seems very clear what happened.

Sure, Dani and Nicky may have a competitive gain in the garage area, though when teams are of concern there is a right method to employ in the pit area (hot paddocks). I have worked with race teams in numerous of situations and each rider has a method to maybe win a race. As Nicky transfers to a new team Dani gains a new teammate. If the two new teammates play right, there may be some insightful enjoyment, if not, a race could be lost.

I was just wondering who Puig would blame if Lorenzo beats Pedro in his rookie season?
Would we be treated to another bizare rant?

Kenlucky Kid says: "Dani can stay at home next 2 races & still beat Hayden.Numbers don't L1e."

End of 2006 motoGP championship:
1. Nicky Hayden: 252 points.
...
5. Dani Pedrosa: 215 points.

You're right, numbers do not lie.

Nicky has said in an interview that at the end of the day you need to row your own boat. Dani needs to get Puig out of his boat and start rowing for himself. It is easy enough to detroy your own career without some other moron doing for you.

One thing I find mystifying about this Puig fellow, and his calling out of NH is how unnecessary it appears, at least in the sporting sense.

I agree, Nicky's probably one of the nicest guys around, but the fact is, Pedrosa's got him covered. Championship-shmampionship: when they all line up on Sunday afternoon, the objective is to win the race, and Dani has met this objective far more times than Nicky, in a significantly shorter span of time. Sure, he's got the charisma of a dried out paper towel, but wins are wins.

Whatever Puig's beef is, I don't know why he doesn't just let his rider's riding do the talking, because it seems as though this approach would prove more than sufficient.
